Really solid protection!
I got this to protect the edges of my Wrangler doors (since Wrangler doors swing open and don’t have any mechanism to regulate the speed at which they open and close). I didn’t shop around, I just picked this brand and I’m glad I did. The guards have flexible metal in the middle that forms to the edge of the doors. The texture on the rubberized material looks great. I also bought a really cheap roll from an auto body shop and found that it was merely rubber with a bit of sticky adhesive inside (no flexible metal). We will be buying another roll or two of this for our other vehicle! Note: It did take about 30 minutes to do both of my doors. You’ll want a rubber mallet or something to get the guards on really tight and evenly on the whole way around. I also used a flat edged screwdriver to pry apart the opening on the guards, since it was a bit too tight to even get on my doors in some spots. Well worth the time and effort spent!

Great price and easy to install
This is an beautiful and really easy trim to install. I did all four doors on my ford escape with about two feet left over. Cuts easily with standard kitchen shears. Has metal encased on one sid and just pushes on and stays in place. Great price too.

Five doors on my SUV are protected.
There was enough material to do my whole SUV and some leftover. There was a material manufacturing defect in one part but I easily cut it out. It looks great, color matches the color of my car, black.

First thing I do as soon as I get a new car
With two cars in a tight garage this just makes good sense. Just put Edge Guard on my forth vehicle. It is the best way to protect both vehicles in a small garage. I've got to the point I can do all four doors on a car under ten minutes easily. For me the best way is to use a small rubber mallet. Start at the top of the door holding the guard with one hand and tapping it with the mallet as you go. Don't get a head of yourself or you will bend the metal inside the guard and have to unbend it to continue. When you get to the bottom of the door, then cut it with scissors.

No more gasping when the wind grabs the door
This edge guard, as I told my husband, is the EDGE LORD, heh. It exceeded my expectations in both its install ease and quality. Us Samurai owners join in on the 'Door swings open with a slight breeze' club, and already have had an accident or two with a wall. It even hugs all the tight angles in my door edge, which I was not expecting. This roll was enough to do both front doors with a few inches extra and I promptly ordered another to do my tailgate to match. Looks good and does its job.

Looks great, strong, impressive
Looking for a way to keep the edges of my new vehicle... this came quickly, installed with a pair of scissors and a few minutes. It was a very snug fit - of course, as it should. It feels like it will not slip off in a car wash. There is no adhesive. There is nothing that appears to harm the paint. There is a thin metal sleeve that keeps our quite rigid but still bends easily enough to conform to the shape of the vehicle. Now, time will tell if this maintains its rigidity and tight grip on the edge... perhaps I should've waited to post this until I've driven it a bit more to check for wind noise, but I'll update this if it makes any significant wind noise. ** pictures are 1st b4 installing, then after

Used this to replace the molding that came on my Tundra. Dealership had glued black rubber strips to the door and the glue began to fail after a few years. This is a mechanical grip, so no glue needed. The end parts that you cut will rust as it is a tiny piece of exposed metal. Just put a tiny drop of black paint over it and it won’t rust.

So far so good
This edge guard is a bit tricky to cut while leaving a clean edge (the spaces between the metal clips is quite small). Yes, you need to be careful that you’re not twisting the rubber while cutting, which will leave more exposed metal than ideal, but I found that by measuring slightly longer than I needed and trimming afterwards gave me a few practice cuts with reasonably clean ends. From there it’s a cinch to install, just apply initially with your finger tips and then press firmly along the full length with the palm of your hand. Nice firm grip, solid protection, and none of that messy adhesive associated with other brands (at least, that I know of!). I was worried about the textured look, but on a dark slate paint it looks great and very seamless. My only complaint is that the exposed metal starts to rust fairly quickly, so I don’t expect this to last forever, but for the money it does the job.

Excellent protection to my Brand new car
Installed on All new Jeep Compass 2017 and I am sure it fits all the cars. Product is excellent and stick on the car door edges without any issues. Just throw them in the sunlight for 5 to 10 mins and If you are from cold zones, just put it in your car with defroster on for 5 mins or you can use hair dryers (makes sure its on medium to avoid damage to the product) and start installing. Note: Do not do a mistake of cutting it first by measuring on the edge and installing it after. Instead, start installing from the top of the car door s and as soon as you reach just about the end of the door, cut and complete the installation.

Installed on the front driver and passenger door of my 2017 Chevy Colorado crew cab. Reminds me of an old German car's door edge guard. It has a metal core that required a pair of cable cutters to cut, but fits snug along the edge of the door. I hit is with a heat gun to ply it fully around the edge of the door - probably not necessary, but it made me feel better. I looks durable and hopefully will last the life of my 3 year lease or longer. I will update if I have an issue.
