I live in a dusty environment which requires frequent cabin air filter replacement. This is my choice for not having to replace the standard paper cabin air filter every six months due to the dust.

My Hellcat sucks everything in front of it when the supercharger breaths. Amazed at what I see traped vs standard filter and thus check every thousand miles to swap out with my second filter I keep clean and oiled. Love it. Sounds great with each change out with increased air flow. Easy to clean and re-oil. Fits a 2017 perfect.

Love this air filter! I bought it to replace the factor one on my 2014 RT Charger. It's noticeable nicer and you can tell it's high quality right when you remove it from the package. Definitely a lot better than the paper ones that come stock with the car.

Bought this cabin air filter for my 2015 Challenger R/T and installed at 39k miles. I had replaced the original filter with another OEM MOPAR paper filter at about 18k and wasn't thrilled with the flimsy quality. I started getting that "musty" smell for a couple minutes after staring the car so read some reviews on the K & N and decided to take the plunge. It's brand new and time will tell the full story, but so far I'm getting a much nicer and cleaner smell in the car. The quality of the K & N is readily apparent as soon as you take it out of the box. Like I said, the proof will be in the pudding when I buy the cleaner and restorer kit at 12k, but thus far I'm impressed at the difference in quality and performance, and can say it's worth the extra expense.

Just got this today, dealer said i had to change the filter soon, oh how i dread these expenses. I installed in 2 sec and saved a buncha money on not having to rely on the labor expense from the dealerahip. I have a 2016 dodge charger and as much as i want to be loyal to mopar, that paper filter is ridiculous you're just paying for the name.

The cabin air filter was a perfect fit for my 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8. As far as a difference in air quality goes, I really can't tell a difference from the disposable filters but this might be because I would replace the cheap air filters frequently. Overall I am happy to own another K&N product.

Pros: Better filtering and no more having to buy new ones!! Easy to install instructions and even has a "STOP - DON'T REPLACE" sticker to put near it's location so people don't toss it out just because it's dirty. Better flow than old one Cons: Pricey, but will be worth it in the long run. Dodge charges about $25 for the OEM filters and you can get them around $15 for generics.

I am not a handy man at all, like at all at all. I do know that I have been to the dealership two times during the last 5 years to have them replace the cabin air filter. Both times I was charged $60 and waited over an hour to have it replaced. I used no tools and changed it, in under 5 minutes. As soon as I turned the car on and turned on the A/C I noticed the air smelled really fresh, blew harder and my car smelled new! It finally got rid of that funky smell. I wouldn't have found this product if it wasn't for amazon (I'm not car savvy). I am not a fix it guy and if I could do this, anybody can too.

Changing my filter did get rid of the damp smell that you get when you first turn it on. For the first couple of weeks takes a while for its packaging smells to go away. But then it's like back to normal. Very easy to install and I'll never buy the disposable ones again. Not to mention it's cheaper then that the dealership charges. 2 min install.

After trying a couple of different cabin filters for my 2014 Charger, I was hoping K&N would release a model that would fit so jumped on this when they did. We have a K&N for our other vehicle which I like, and this one I like even more. The paper filters would get very damp/musty smelling on wet and rainy days, this filter has not had that problem. I don't know if it is because the filter is located where it is, but I haven't experienced this problem in wet conditions with the cabin filters for the two Toyotas that I've owned. Anyway, this was a good fit and has smelled nice since I put it in. It is probably in my head, but this filter seems to give me better air volume as well.
