These give you a little extra security and peace of mind while traveling. Used this for a trip we took this last year through Germany. I'm sure its not impossible for thieves to steal this off of you but you'd probably have to be an expert thief to do it and it'd be way harder than pickpocketing a wallet or snatching a purse. The main gripe I have about using these is it's super awkward trying to get money out of them while standing in line to pay for something. "Let me reach down my pants or pull up my shirt to fiddle around with a zipper to pull out some cash..." its awkward. The best fix I've found is simply to pull a little cash out and have it in a wallet or something that if it was stolen wouldn't be the end of the world, but leave the majority of cash and cards and passport in the travel belt. Overall, very glad we bought these for the trip.

If like me you are only going to carry one or ...

Firstly this is a "money belt" not a fanny pack. If like me you are only going to carry one or two credit cards, an I.D. and some cash when on the beach or in a crowd this is the product you need. Yes you can put other things in it, like a phone without any case, and still keep a a low profile. I tested the RF abilities using a "proximity card" and it worked as advertised. I am a hefty guy but the stretchable strap fits great without pinching. Also I might add it did not trip the metal detectors at our local airport. The larger compartment can easily store your passports and like items. Of course the smaller compartment is ideal for credit cards and normal sized I.D. cards. I found the full sized mesh compartment on the back perfect for airline tickets, boarding passes etc. It is very light weight to the point you forget you have it on. I might add, I have not been compensated by anyone in any way, shape or form for this review.

Evetything I expected! Love it!

This money belt is well made, not only does the back pocket fit my cell phone plus several bills, the zipper is good quality, I leave a small gap for my earbud and that works petfectly, the zipper stays in place and will not move open while walking. The front pocket is smaller, but amazingly it fits my thick palm-sized cell phone battery (2.5"x3.5"x1") plus charging cable. With all these things inside, I was surprised it still fits under my pant waist so it remains hidden, and with my shirt over my pants, it barely noticeable, very nice, and the beige/flesh color further makes it less noticeable. I love this money belt, it is everything I expected and more, it keeps my hands and pockets empty so I can exercise and go around town freely and comfortably, walking or jumping worry-free, it stays in place and doesn't slide or slip around. It's easy to adjust to a snug fit, too. Plus the RFID protection gives me peace of mind! I plan to buy more of this excellent money belt as gifts to my family, as we are going on an European vacation soon, it will be very useful!

I was concerned about how comfortable it was going to be to wear it but ...

Just got back from 8 day trip where I used the money belt. I was concerned about how comfortable it was going to be to wear it but found it fit just fine (small waist - long torso) and it was very comfortable. In fact, you forget you are wearing it. As other reviewers have said, it is not a substitute for purse type things but does the trick for slender wallets, credit cards, money or other small valuables. I will be using it in the future for hiking and long walks when carrying a purse isn't feasible.

Love it! Travel and Everyday use!

I go to Japan next weekend and I've been using this to break it in. It is actually very comfortable and doesn't shift around, for me having a tiny waist. I wear it over my tank top and under my shirt or hoodie, so I don't know what it would feel like against bare skin. The sleeves they send for cards and my passport are really cool! I can easily pull out my cards and passports without any of them falling out. They even have little holding places for the passport and cards specifically. I use the front pocket as a coin pouch and it's easy for my tiny fingers to get it out, no struggle. I even discovered a cute little back pocket! Might put my phone in there... Almost Perfect RFID Blocking Money Belt

I just received the Alpha Keeper money belt, and I have to admit that I'm actually pretty impressed with the product so far. It appears to be of good quality, and I'm looking forward to using it on my upcoming international travel in a couple of days. The YKK zippers are smooth, and the stitching is neat throughout. I didn't find any loose threads at all. The elastic belt portion is soft and comfortable. The pouch itself appears to be made of ripstop nylon, which should make this pouch pretty durable if it is. The added RFID blocking sleeves were a nice touch for when you have to carry RFID items outside of the money belt itself! One thing I found to be a little annoying is the crinkling sound the pouch portion makes, which I'm assuming is the RFID blocking material? It's not overly loud, but one of the reasons I purchased the pouch is to keep items on my person quietly and covertly. I will say, however, that it is quieter when I'm actually wearing it versus handling it. Something that might make this otherwise awesome pouch perfect would be an added zipper to the breathable mesh back panel hidden pocket. That would make whatever is tucked away in there secured from falling out accidentally. Other than that, this money belt is almost perfect!

But I figured better safe than sorry, especially since I would be using the train system extensively in Italy where pickpockets tend to hang out. I was pleasently surprised that it was incredibly comfortable. I was able to keep two passports, cash, credit cards, and a cellphone and forgot that I was wearing it at all. I would definitely recommend this product.

Succeeded all expectations!

I was going to a 4 day music festival & wanted something that was inconspicuous & comfortable to carry. Now I know that "fannypacks" are all the rage now, but I just couldn't see myself owning one! I used to tease my mom hardcore about her fannypack, so what kind of person would I be if I owned one?! SO, I thought a money belt would be better. That's how I came across this lil beauty. The reviews for it were outstanding & the price was perfect. I bought it & wore it nonstop for 4 days & it was a miracle! It was big enough to store my iPhone 7 in its Otterbox case (that line of cases are huge btw), along w/my ID, credit cards, & cash easily! It also stayed put which is remarkable considering all the movement it had to endure; nonstop walking, dancing, & jumping-hey, it was a music festival! But it did it all beautifully. It was small enough to wear under clothes & outside of clothes no problem (refer to pic). It wasn't until day 3 that my friends even noticed I was wearing it & I wasn't trying to hide it at all! And they loved it too. Additionally, the temperature was in the high 90s, but with its mesh backing it kept cool without causing a sweaty area. What else can I say?! The Alpha Keeper is a keeper & I will be rockin' again soon.

Well when it comes to money belts one rule applies=?when you go out of the house you wear one...always tucked into the waistband of you undergarments...it is the easiest and safest way to safeguard you most important documents.... This money belt is a screaming deal... super lightweight and washable... it seems the blocking effect from card scanners is achieved by a series of included shielded card holders, included is one designed for your passport...those alone are worth the price of admission... Any negative reviews should be scrutinized, as this is amongst the best I have used! Brad 1.) use moneybelts every day of my life. 2.) provided guests with money belts when I worked for Rick Steves' EUROPE THROUGH THE BACK DOOR.... 3.) have dealt with guests( I travel with groups as their local expert through the USA, Canada, and most of Europe...)having items stolen or lost...it is not fun... 4.) always tuck the money belt tucked inside your underwear, and put a knot in the elastic belt, do not assume the clip on any belt( this one is excellent!)will always stay buckled...

Would Definitely Buy Again, But Don't Have To!

This belt is so comfortable that, during daily use on a three week Mediterranean trip where pickpockets thrive, I sometimes panicked thinking it was gone! Since there are so many positive reviews about the product itself already, which I totally agree with, will just add on the following: 1) Love the outer mesh pocket for comfort and ability to hold larger items like a camera or phone 2) Front snap-in belt buckle gives added security and makes putting on and taking off much easier than side or back ones 3) Belt adjusts easily and does accommodate larger waists 4) Zippers, seams, and belt held up very well despite heavy use and lots of on and offs 6) Temperature in Granada, Spain reached a scorching, sweaty 110 degrees, but the elastic belt stayed in place so well, no irritation at all and back mesh pocket kept the pouch itself cool to the skin 5) Have many RFID c/c sleeves, but these are the best quality and the mixed colors that come with the tan pouch are both attractive and make it easier to know which card is in which holder. After a week of use, I was so happy with this belt, figured I would order again for my next trip. Wrong! The one I have is still in perfect condition and I expect that it will continue to be that way for many trips to come. Over the years I have spent ridiculous numbers of hours looking for and bought so many different neck wallets (not nearly as comfortable or safe), fanny packs, and waist belts I can't even count them. Never again. Alpha Keeper is now my keeper!
