Happy Purchase
Great little scales. Seems to be very accurate, quick and easy to use. Set your container or whatever you are using to hold the item you want to weigh on the scales and push the on button, then in a second or two the 0s appear. Put the item(s) you want weighed and bingo you get a nice accurate weight. Max weight is 15 lbs. You can add more or take away if you are trying to get to a certain weight and it will adjust accordingly. Very easy to keep clean. Batteries included.

Don't think, just buy!
I'm an avid baker, and the more complicated the recipe, the greater the satisfaction when I can pull it off. The recipes I am the most intrigued by seem to always be in metric measurements, yet for some reason I had never made the *minor* investment in a kitchen scale. I finally decided to go for it, and saw a difference in my finished products quite literally overnight. My first project was a chocolate cherry bread that I had attempted a few weeks beforehand with moderate success. Trying again while using the scale was an unbelievable difference. The scale is extremely user-friendly, sturdy, and exactly what I was hoping it would be. My only complaint is with myself for procrastinating for so long. Worth every penny.

so good. Very simple to operate
So far, so good. Very simple to operate. I bought it for my 85-year old mom. I like the fact that the button to reset the weight is called "Zero". In addition, I saw reviews for other scales where if you have a big plate to weigh, it may cover the display. On this scale, the placement of what you are weighing is on the glass above the unit, which leaves room below the plate for the display. In addition, the display is at a bit of an angle to make it possible to read. In addition, the scale is a comfortable size (not too big, not too small) so that most plates and bowls will fit without obstructing the display anyway.

Good Choice
After searching through the many digital scales available, I decided on this one due to the design and the high ratings it received. It's very easy to operate and the instructions are easily followed. I like the glass surface which is easy to keep clean, and the surface is large enough to accommodate anything I need to weigh. Some sales have smaller, round surfaces and those didn't appeal to me due to the limited surfaces. This one seems to work very well....I recommend it!

Excellent kitchen scale!
I really, REALLY like this kitchen scale. It's just the right size for leaving on the countertop, plus the weighing platform is roomy, and I have found that the square shape for the weighing platform is a lot better than round. The display is bright and easily visible, and is far enough away from the platform that you can place a sizeable bowl or plate on the platform and still see the display. Very pleased with this excellent value. I use it for weighing food for Bright Line Eating, so it gets used a lot.

Now the scale works perfect for raisins too
This scale is very handy in the kitchen. Here's how it works. So, you set your dish, paper towel, or other container on the scale. Then you press the "zero" button. The light blue readout lights up and the reading goes to 0.0 lb 0.0 oz. Now you add your product. Let's say you want to know the weight of a chicken breast filet you just fried up. Lay the beast on the scale and note the reading. Now the scale works perfect for raisins too. Let's say you want exactly 1 ounce of raisins in your dish. You simply add raisins from its container into your dish until the scale reads 1.0 ounce. If you go over, just remove a few raisins. The light goes out after a few seconds, but the scale continues to read out the weight. You have plenty of time to make adjustments before the readout disappears. It is a great scale for the price....

Perfect for my needs
There are a lot of digital kitchen scales out there. Most are very similar with similar features. I decided on this one for a few reasons. First, the other reviews were excellent. Second, I wanted one with a glass top. Third, I wanted one with a large, lighted display. Fourth, I wanted one that was easy to shift measurements with. This scale ticks every box for what I wanted. It's simple, it's easy to read. It appears to be quite accurate. It's very easy to clean. Value is incredible. If you are a baker and still haven't moved from volume measurements to weight measurements, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. At these prices you can't go wrong. Getting absolutely repeatable results with ingredients, and absolutely repeatable results in portion sizes is a godsend. If you want consistent output, you need consistent input. Absolutely recommend this scale to any home baker or anyone else needed a small, digital scale.

Baking is supposed to be fun, I said
For many years I've had to calculate my family and internet recipes from Germany converting measurements from grams to ounces on my American scale. I'd double check my math, write it down, weigh the bowl, then subtract the weight, etc. God forbid anyone interrupted me in the midst of my calculations. Baking is supposed to be fun, I said. I received my Accuweight scale and immediately decided to test it. It look so small I didn't expect much. I baked a German apple streusel cake the day after the scale arrived. I did my happy dance around the kitchen as I used the tare function as I weighed all my ingredients in the bowl and in grams. I would weigh things over and over again for the sheer joy of it. The scale is not too small at all. It is lightweight and slim. I'm glad. I don't need another kitchen gadget that takes up so much room. My Kitchenaid has that honor. Accuweight scale - where have you been all my life?

Makes Cooking in Grams Easy
Purchased this scale just over a week ago so I would be ready for a marathon cooking weekend with my daughter. She wanted to learn how to bake bread, then we decided to use some of the millions of tangelos our tree produced this year to make marmalade. We started Saturday evening, prepping the bread, then Sunday morning, while the bread was starting it's 2 hour rise, we started making marmalade. This scale is so much larger than my old one that I bought in Japan. That scale lasted over 20 years, but it only weighed in grams up to 1 Kilogram. This scale, with it's broader base, can take ingredients to 5 K. We baked 2 loaves of bread and 91/2 cups of jam. It was easy to use, the tare worked perfectly, the numbers are larger and clearer and i can switch back to ounces and pounds if I have to recheck a US recipe.

Simple, solidly built.
Well, I can't vouch for the durability because I've had it only a few days. However, this is a nifty little scale. Very simple to use. Nothing complicated about it. Us old people don't need our grandkids to teach us how to use it. Large readout. Solidly built. Increments of tenths of ounces/grams. Zeros out easily when placing an empty container on the scale or between adding multiple ingredients. It resets the tare to zero when done. Perfect for kitchen use and/or postage weights. Attractive enough to keep on a countertop. Great value!
