My Irish Wolfhounds will actually obey a command to "sit" when I am holding this container of treats. If you know Wolfies, that is no small feat, as these dogs behave like giant cats, and only follow commands when they feel like doing so. Apparently, these treats appeal greatly to the canine palate and while my Wolfies primarily eat a raw and grain-free diet, they are allowed a few of these per day as rewards for good behavior. I also appreciate the container, which helps to maintain freshness.

I have a very picky Pug and not so picky Border Collie/Dingo mix. The Pug loves these treats and hates most all others I've ever tried to give her. The treats are small and perfect for the little mouth on my Pug. The Border Collie loves them too but wishes they were bigger. I think they are about half the size of the Alpo T-Bonz treats shaped like a steak. These treats are perfect for small dogs and smell delicious. I think my Pug has become addicted to them - she won't stop begging and pestering me to give her more....

Purina Alpo Tbonz Filet Mignon Flavor Dog Treats is a tremendously delicious treat for your dog. This treat can be used for numerous things such as obedience training, housebreaking, and as a tasty snack. I have a Shih Tzu that treasures this treat as if it was a feast. He will start begging by standing on his hind legs and putting his two front paws together to make an upwards to downwards motion until he gets one. No other treat has caught his attention such as this one. The treats are soft in nature; which is perfect for my dog because I don't want anything too tough or harsh on his teeth. The treats come in a plastic airtight jar to seal in freshness and flavor. If you expose the treats to air, they will harden up-they will also lose texture, flavor, and odor. I don't recommend doing this because my Shih Tzu who normally goes crazy for the food doesn't want anything to do with it. He will spit it out and kick it away; he does not appreciate the staleness. The treats are made in the United States and have undergone a comprehensive overview to provide excellent quality food. Unlike many other foreign countries such as China that put harsh chemicals and ingredients in their pet food and treats. In conclusion, these treats are an excellent selection for any type of dog -small, medium or big. In addition, the container has approximately around 100 treats; which will last for months. For smaller breed dogs, I recommend cutting up the treat in half, thirds, or fourths. Otherwise, the treat seems to be too big for smaller breeds to intake. You will also get more out of your buck. If you do decide to use these treats for any kind of training then I would recommend to cut the treats up.

Like most dog owners, I am "owned" by my 3 dogs and they know how to get what they when they want it and they know how to be stubborn when I try to get them to display certain behaviors. BUT now all I have to do is offer u[ a treat and they immediately jump through any hoops I ask of them.

The owner of the dog who stays with us occasionally provided these as a treat for her. When she ran out, I found them here and ordered. To make them last longer, I cut them in half w/ kitchen shears as the pieces are quite generously sized. They are gobbled right up, so they must be a pretty tasty thing. She's beagle, so she's not going to hesitate before eating much of anything, really:) I'm on my second 40 oz. container now.

I use these for training my Border Collies. They work great and are relatively inexpensive. I only wish the sold them in bulk. I highly recommend these treats for your dogs

First and foremost let me just say that my dog (yellow lab) really enjoys these "Good boy" treats. We don't give him one everyday and as he is a lab they are not very big to him (they are about the size of ... maybe six quarters stacked on top of each other ... a tad smaller than that) so to him they are a very special treat. He really loves them. That said, as we don't give him a lot of them or give them often or daily (maybe four times a week), they last a long time for us and as such, they tend to dry out. I am not sure if the canister allows too much air in or what, but after about a month, we started noticing they are not as soft as when fresh. It is just the way we use them, so I am not taking "points" off the rating, but just know, if you use them daily you should be good, but if you don't they will dry out. My dog still loves them when they are dry however, soooo :-)

Our pups get treats when they ask to go out and do their business and actually do something besides stand on the deck thinking it’s a treat worthy trip. They love these treats so they will try and get them for going out on the deck and hanging out! Sometimes it works if we aren’t paying attention!

I have four dogs of different breeds. We just tried these and they are a hit! I use them to kennel my dogs at night. One of my dogs loves these so much that she keeps trying to kennel herself during the day!

My dog loves these above all treats. She will perform tricks for these treats. She is a 14 lbs fox terrier and the treats are just the right size. When I was running low, I cut them into 4 pieces until I got more. They may be about an inch long, I didn't measure them though. They are not crunchy, but firm and chewy. My dog will come up to me on her own and just start performing tricks so she can get these treats. They work great for potty training too. I used them and she was trained almost immediately.
