Must have.
EDIT: This thing lives in my hallway/kitchen in the winter because they play with it so much. I tried putting it in our basement and the kids screamed bloody murder. My 5 year old does Air Jordan one handed dunks at the highest setting while my short 2.5 year old does classic hook shots. They are both happy to share the same height setting, and its one of the few toys in the house thats easy for them to share. My kids play with this daily! I cant imagine not having this. Its a 4 foot tall plastic babysitter that has found a spot in my foyer for the last 6 months. Kids wont let me put it outside until spring.

Great for toddlers (and their big brothers, too)
Our toddler was watching his big brothers shoot hoops and really wanted to participate. So we got him this-- it's perfect size for him-- and placed it right next to the "big boy" basketball hoop. Every now and then he gets frustrated because he is trying to fit the big (real) basketball through this basket, and it doesn't fit, which is a good lesson for him to learn how object sizes work. His big brothers also like playing with this toy (with or without the toddler), so that's a plus too.

All-Star Producing Quality
Durable for a destructive toddler (15 months) and so easy to assemble that Helen Keller could do it. If you’re looking to start training your kid to be your future payday, this hoop is it. It grows with your all-star and is perfect for your living room sports court. Most difficult part of the set up is straining the net on the loops, but again, it’s easy. Bring the family around for an intense game of horse before bedtime! Make no mistake, this is the very same hoop that LeBron James used to use and now look at him, talk about a return on investment!

Basketball hoop
My 18 month old grandson absolutely LOVES this! I also bought the "my first basketball book" ( along with the baseball, football and soccer books) and he has learned many of the words to go with it. He puts the ball in the basket and says "DUNK" or "SHOOT" !! Very sturdy. I bought it early so he has it in the house, but they will probably put it outside as the weather warms up. As he grows we can make the height taller and I believe we can put water in the bottom to stabilize it. Great gift!

Toddler Approved Basketball Set
My son loves this basketball hoop and plays with it often. Ours came with 3 balls, since I bought the one that said it had 3 balls. The hoop is height adjustable, so I have been adjusting it to his height since we've gotten it last year. I filled the base with sand and sealed the plug in place with some silicone. It is a little heavy for me to move around, but is worth it because it has not fallen over yet. I sealed the plug with silicone because I did not want my son figuring out how to open it and pour the sand out.

Every child needs this...boys AND girls
Well made (for being plastic), sturdy even without sand in the base (although it will need the sand when my grandson gets older). Two-year old likes this, although it doesn't keep him busy for hours...I expect it will, though. The selling point on this is the ability to adjust the height, making it a real bargain. How many toys that keep a child ACTIVE can you use over four years? This develops hand and eye coordination and provides lots of movement as children chase the balls. Highly recommended, especially since I find myself (an old grandma) enjoying sitting in a chair and tossing a few hoops, too! Update 1/29/17: A flaw in the design of this is the basket is easily loosened, even by itself. We awoke one night, grabbed the shotgun, and stealthily tiptoed down the steps to discover that the thump we heard in the den was the basket falling off the stand! While it was a relief, then, it is not fun when my grandson throws a ball that hits the rim a few times, then KERPLUNK goes the basket. There is no need for the basket to be this loose as it has no part in the adjustability of the toy for the child as he or she grows. This needs to be redesigned. Grandpa is going to fix this problem with a permanent solution, but obviously the set will never be able to be packed in a box after that.

The rim isn't defective, as some users state.
The rim won't droop if it's pushed ALL the way in. It's easy to think that it's fully connected when it's not. Give it a little extra force until you hear and feel it click on both sides. It took me a minute of fiddling with it before I figured it out, and for a moment I thought, I, too, had received a faulty unit. Turns it the design wasn't the problem. The user was.

It is very easy to assemble
Our 2 year old son loves it! It is very easy to assemble. For those that might be having trouble with the hoop part staying on, make sure you follow the instructions and make sure that it is snapped all the way in. The height adjustment feature is awesome, I can leave it low when my son wants to dunk on it like his dad or place it higher when he wants to shoot the ball and practice his skills! This is great for indoor or outdoor. It is a very durable set! I am extremely happy and satisfied with this product!

So Easy To Assemble!
My children love this not just my toddlers but my 7 year old as well! Came packaged in a clean dent free box, inside it’s in 5 pieces; the base that can be filled with sand for stability, the trunk which adds the height, the backboard piece, the hoop, and the net. It was extremely easy to assemble without the instructions no screws, nuts, or bolts to struggle with. It’s so lightweight and easy to move both inside and outside of the garage so you can play with it even on rainy days. It comes with 3 pre inflated small basketballs (bonus) perfect for my toddlers hands. My 1.5 year old was able to use it and make baskets she does a little happy dance when she makes it in. :) so adorable seeing the look of glee written on their faces! The balls are soft enough that they don’t hurt when someone accidentally bonks themselves. The only complaint I have is it was really really hard to insert the hoop into the back board. But that just means it’s truly secure. Kind of a give and take in that aspect. So have someone assist you for that part if you can :) it may have just been an isolated incident. But it doesn’t change my 5 star review

Love that the height adjusts
We bought this for our 2 yr old and I have to admit, we probably play with it as much as our toddler does. It's height adjustable which is great for growing kids.
