Initially purchased this for the sake of creating a barrier between my neck and a new jacket that was rubbing me raw when closed all the way. Had an opportunity to hit the road, only 39 degrees (F), and figured this was going to have to do even as cold as it was. To my surprise my neck stayed totally comfortable the entire 3 hours and only place to get cold was my nose after it had slipped down about 2 hours in. Unbelievable - as I really didn't buy it for that and didn't expect it to be true - but it is. Thin and lightweight but surprisingly warm and wind resistant.

I ordered this mask because I will be riding a motorcycle all winter, and I'm experimenting with a few different options to try and keep my face warm. So far, this has been the best non-bulky option I've tried. The material is very thin so I didn't expect it to be very warm, but it retains heat surprisingly well and it's very wind-resistant. I live in Utah where it is very cold and windy, and I've used this every morning since I received it. So far the coldest I've ridden in has been 40 degrees at about 60 Mph, but my face and neck were comfortable the entire time (note: comfortable does not mean hot - If you ride in the cold, only heated gear will keep you from feeling the cold. Comfortable to me means I wasn't cold enough to hurt, feel numb, or otherwise be bothered by the temperature). I expect I will need something a little thicker if it gets below 30, but for anything above that this mask is great.

A Must Have for the Slopes!

Purchasing this face mask was the best decision I’ve ever made.. and I have children! I love in Arizona so when I get to board it’s either A. Cold and windy or B. Warm and sunny. This face mask is great for both. It keeps your face warm but breathes very easily and on sunny days keeps your face from getting fried. Plus the USA flag print helps you snowboard faster because you get to glide on the tears of those who take offense to the sight of old glory. Do yourself the favor and do your face this favor!

My husband loves this face mask. He works ooutsde and with this cooler weather coming in he really wanted something to keep his face for the wind and this was his answer!! Its very soft very long so it can go over his head pretty much and still have material to cover his neck. But what he does is folds it in half so that its twice as thick since this one is a thinner material, and wear it over just his nose, ears and to the underneath of his jaw line. He enjoys it. The design is awesome. Its got that weatherd look to it which was what my husband wanted. He says it keeps his face warm throughout his day. My only concern is that it is thin. Once it starts snowing here I'm sure hes going to want something a little thicker. But if you're just looking for something for like riding motorcycles with then this would be ok for you.

Just buy it

This face mask is extremely breathable, it's very lightweight and flexible. I've got a huge dome, and a beard that comes down to where my necklace ends, and I'm glad to finally have a face cover that can accommodate a long beard and hold it in. I thought for sure it would start to slide down once I moved my head around. but it stood in place, flexed and didn't move. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Quality

I buy a lot of these tube style face masks. I ride several different motorcycles and like to wear these cause they cut down on wind noise and protect the face. This one has the right amount of rebound and snug fit. They don't easily fray or roll on the edges. Quality product!

Freaking Awesome

Got to love a company that gives you 10% off your next purchase for sending them your favorite lead guitarist! The quality of the mask is great and is 100% covered for defects by just sending an email that you purchased the mask. You also cannot complain at the price and it is great for cool rides when the temp is in the mid-40's outside.

So glad I did

Hesitated a lot before I bought 2 of these .So glad I did !!! This works awesome . I do a lot of trail bucking and ya never know what the temps are gonna do . The material is extremely light weight and very soft . Doesn't stretch out , and stay playable . Just used them for over night quad outing. There were lots of people asking about mine pretty envious of them . Would highly recommend them ..

AN HONEST REVIEW

Love it! Nothing complicated about the design of these face masks. They seem to be basically a piece of athletic t-shirt material. The only thing that I found a little annoying is that it can be a lil difficult to find the sweet spot where the mask is pulled up far enough but not touching your eyes or in your eyes. With that said, I prefer to use these over a dust mask hands down. I use them for doing demo projects with interior construction and when I mow grass. Of the other brands I have purchased, this seems to be the best compromise of quality of and price. I highly recommend this brand. I liked them so much that I bought several. Don't waste your time buying the SA brand as they are much more expensive and no better.

After trying a few masks, this tops the list so far

I recently switched over to a half helmet on my motorcycle. I started with neoprene half masks to protect from bugs and debris (I live in farmland/desert so there's often dust and bugs). I saw these and for the price and reviews I figured I'd try it out. Pros: the super lightweight material allows for a natural/unmasked feeling. My first day wearing it I reverted back to bare face habits like keeping my mouth closed. The light material is also very stretchy so it really fits the contours of my face really well. The mobility of my head was he greatest part (so far) of this mask. With neoprene, if I look over my shoulder I have to adjust the mask almost every time. Not with this one! It stays in place the entire time and hasn't been twisting up. Also I constantly get waved at and complimented by people of all ages. It looks and feels great. The thin material keeps the heat at bay (as much as possible 100 degree heat anyways). The design of this mask allows you to use it in many different ways (as advertised) which is great. Cons: limited design choices. Also, I can't speak for the long term durability but for the price it's already been worth it. I'll be purchasing more (and hopefully new designs soon) so I can cycle (ha!) them out.
