Tried it couple different ways(including the directions) then figured it out. First, use a simple degreaser(purple power, super clean) to scrub off mat to get to a clean surface. I know it says it will clean them but thats not where this product stands out- it won’t clean and restore in one step. The other 2 products are cheaper anyway and can be diluted up to 10:1 so waaaay cheaper. Clean the mats then let them dry or use blower to dry off. Stand mats on end and start at top of mat saturating mat top to bottom so you take advantage of the runoff. Once mat is wet leave it standing up n pour off excess that drained to the bottom of mat. Leave it to dry. When it dries( i just leave overnight or do this first at the customers house while i detail rest of car) the mats look brand new. Deep black. Satin finish. Not slippery. No smudging. Perfect every time. Do it like this n you will love this stuff. Otherwise its gonna be in the trash. Mud flaps too. Any thick rubber. Hope this helps. Hey Chemical guys if you read this don’t be afraid to send me some free stuff or your degreaser to check out just for pimping your stuff. Haha!! Thanks.

One of the main reasons I stopped maintaining my summer silicone and winter plastic floor mats was due to the slickness products would add just to make them look rich dark and new again. This product is amazing and now I can have great looking floor mats again! I've experienced near-misses before when you foot slides up under the accelerator or the mat slides up on it. It's frightening and dangerous. It takes very little of this product to achieve a deep rich dark look and without additional slickness. Fully loved and approved!

This chemical guys vinyl mat cleaner is the perfect addition to a car detailing kit. It cleans floor mats far better than just soap and water. I use this with a brush, and it removes all dirt, grime, and any light staining. The smell is also very pleasant, unlike many cleaning products. It is very easy to use, as it is just a spray bottle, and it doesn't require heavy scrubbing.

I used this product on my Weather Tech mats that were dirty and dull. The floor mat cleaner brought the back to their original look with very little work. I did use the the car wash high pressure hose to rinse the mat first, sprayed the mat cleaner on the mat and let sit for appox. 5 mins. After rinsing the mat it looked real close to bran new.

Perfect for my plastic car mats. Make sure you rinse off your mats and get off the debris so it’s easier to scrub after you spray it. My tips? Vacuum and dust off mat, Hose down (if you have a high power option/ pressure washer use that), spray and irrigate mats with hard bristle brush, let sit, scrub again with hard bristle brush (especially on those cakes in muddy spots, and rinse. Let them dry before you put them in your car to avoid mold and humidity

I used this on the floor mats and steering wheel cover I transferred to my car from my truck and it was like magic. I even used it on my other floor mats in my smaller truck (mats are over 10 years old and all rubber) and they cleaned up nicely!

Great kit for cleaning floormats at a reasonable cost.

I bought a set of very expensive rubber mats for my suv and I would like to try to keep in them in great condition as long as possible. every week or two I use this product on the mats and its super easy and gets them super clean. it brings that dark black color back to the rubber. this is one of many chemical guy products that I really like.

Works well to clean and restore floor mats back to looking like they just came from the factory

My son uses this in his detailing business & swears by this product!
