This ashtray is working perfectly for me. I put it on my dash and so far have not needed the light but the light works as described. I have to move my seat up so far that the cup holders in my Jetta are behind me and I can't even see them when driving at night. It is just what I needed.

I see it's out of stock now; good thing I bought it when I did. This works very well for me. Everything I looked at sits in the cupholder, a big distraction. I mounted this on top of the dash so I don't have to take my eyes off the road. I sanded down the 3 nubs in the base a little to make it easier to snap apart. No more driving with the window open in the winter.
