These are perfect plastic glasses
These are perfect plastic glasses. I load one up with lots of ice and water, leave it on my wood night stand all night long and wake up in the morning and the remaining water is still cold. There may even still be some ice cubes left over in the morning but the most important thing is, no rings on your wood table from condensation, yeah. Throw in a a bendable straw and you do not even need to sit up straight in bed to drink. After years of use and abuse in the dishwasher, they tend to turn frosty white on the inside. I have found that I can remove that by using a Scotch-Brite non-scratch scrub sponge. I prefer the 24 ounce tumbler and my wife the 16 ounce size. I believe they are still made in the USA, hooray!

The best insulated glass manufactured
I live in Florida and my family consumes a lot of iced drinks. The problem in a warm climate is the condensation that forms on the outside of the glass, drips down the side, and leaves a wet ring on the table. The Tervis tumbler is built to solve this problem, and it does it beautifully while keeping your drink ice cold. We've tried other brands of insulated tumblers that we purchased at Publix. They are definitely less expensive, but the minute one was dropped, it shattered and became unusable. The Tervis tumblers are guaranteed for life and would be replaced if they became unusable. Also, the seams of the less expensive tumblers were not as smooth, and you could feel it as soon as you raised the tumbler to your lips. Yes, I put them in the top rack of the dishwasher with no problem. I liked these so much that I bought both the larger and smaller sizes. There's no question that they're a bit pricey, but they really are beautifully made, durable, and as an added plus, they're manufactured in the USA! If you're looking to eliminate the wet rings on your table without using coasters, these are the solution. I'm just an ordinary consumer, but I've come to appreciate the quality of Tervis products and recommend them highly.

They may seem expensive but but are well-worth the price.
I've lived in Florida my entire life and have never bought genuine Tervis tumblers because I always thought they were too expensive. I was wrong! They are absolutely the best tumblers I've ever owned and well-worth the price. Before writing my review, I read the negative reviews to see what other reviewers could possibly NOT like about these tumblers and none of the complaints made much sense to me. Most of them had to do with discoloring due to contact with sunscreens and citrus juices. The Tervis website has very good info about use and care. If you read the info and follow their advice, you shouldn't have any problems. I have many friends who have been using the same Tervis tumblers daily for 15 or 20 years. Although they don't look new, they still look good enough to use even when they have guests over. For me, the 16 oz size is perfect for general use. It's big enough for iced tea but not so big you can't use it for coffee, juice, milk, mixed drinks, etc. Also, they are small enough to fit easily in cabinets and dishwashers and they fit my large hands and my wife's small hands comfortably. They have an unconditional guarantee against breakage and defects and, if you need to exchange them they don't charge for shipping or handling and don't require proof of purchase. In short, I like everything about them and recommend them without qualification. Them may seem a little expensive but are actually a bargain when you consider how versatile they are and how long they last. I've owned less expensive knockoffs and there is no comparison. Bite the bullet and buy them. You won't regret it..

A great deal
These are the gold standard of insulated glasses. The first set we bought 12 years ago are still in use but friends tend to take them home with them. If you want great glasses that ice stays in for hours and hours then this is the set. Ya, more expensive than others but hey, 12 years and still going? that a great deal.

We love them. They are diswasher friendly
While visiting a friend, I noticed that her glasses kept drinks cold for a long time and never sweated. Asked her what brand they were and they were TERVIS. So, as soon as I got home home I ordered the 4 pack tumbler. We love them. They are diswasher friendly. I have not put hot drinks in mine but do I understand that they keep hot drinks hot besides cold drinks cold. I plan on purchasing some more. You will not be disappointed.

What was life like before Tervis?
I don't even want to think about it. For a long time I avoided Tervis tumblers because I thought they were pricey and couldn't believe that they were any better than the dozens and dozens of other options out there. Then.... I caved in and bought some when I needed to replace a couple of 16oz tumblers of another brand that didn't make it through a cycle in the bottom rack of the dishwasher (I told him not to put the plastic stuff down there!). These tumblers are fantastic. They're solid, high quality, and look nice. Yeah, they're just clear plastic, but they look and feel nicer than any others that I have. The lids and straws are sold separately (another reason I avoided buying them to begin with) but once you get all of your accessories, you've got a great travel tumbler that doesn't leak and won't sweat under normal conditions. I live in Houston Texas, so there are some situations here that I wouldn't classify as 'normal'. I once filled up one of these tumblers with ice and water and went immediately outside and worked in the 100 degree garage. It did get a little sweaty when I first went outside, but then it seemed to regulate itself and stopped after a few minutes. At no time have I ever seen one get all beaded up with condensation and drip onto the surface that it's sitting on. Fair warning - once you get one, you're going to want more. Since buying this first set, I have collected several others with fun designs and patterns. I've even gone big and gotten several of the 24 oz size that I carry around with me in the house so I can have water whenever I want and don't have to worry about spilling (with a lid) or sweating on the furniture. I don't know why I waited!

Great product!
My dad has been using tervis tumblers for his coffee for years. Just replacing his old ones. He loves these and they came in a nice package so they will be easy to wrap for Christmas! Always a good experience with these. Don’t believe these come with lids though, but he doesn’t need lids either!

High quality glasses
I've had these glasses for a couple of months, and love that they don't sweat condensation from cold drinks. I haven't used them for hot drinks yet. The rim is a little thicker than most glasses, because they are insulated. Top rack dishwasher safe and so far they've been through lots of washings with no sign of cracks. If they hold up looking good as new after every wash, I'll be very pleased.

No more glass, I'm using these
These tumblers seem to be of good quality and the average 16 ounce size for drinks with ice (like a 12 OUNCE soda with ice). Ice keeps longer without making your drink watery and best of all, it doesn't leave water rings on the table. Doesn't have a plastic smell or leave a plastic after-taste in your mouth. The opening is smooth and easy to wash. Only using these for water and iced tea, no hot drinks. Have been using every day for over a month and no stains yet, still look new. OK, now that we have used these for awhile, they are showing stains from iced tea. I'll probably have to use a little bleach mixed with hot water and dish soap to remove the stain.
