Easy to use, fast set up, lightweight. I bought this to replace my Inglesina Fast Table Chair, which was a great chair but it was heavy and cumbersome to set up. Also at times, it wasn't useable due to the shape or thickness of the table. The Munchkin booster is great. I haven't come across a chair that it doesn't work on. It's much lighter, easier to set up and easier to carry than the Inglesina chair. I also prefer this seat to high chair covers, which are more compact, but don't secure the kid nearly as well. The storage space inside the seat is sufficient, as long as you're not planning to use it as a diaper bag. I plan to travel with this and carry it on the plane as a personal item/bag, rather than having it take up space in my luggage as the Inglesina chair did.

We brought this along to use with our 14 month old on a cruise. Many of the dining venues don’t offer high chairs or if they do they can be hard to track down and a pain to drag over. This booster seat was a great purchase! It is super easy to setup and worked well with a variety of styles and sizes of chairs. It was easy to tighten and seemed pretty stable. It was very light weight and easy to carry around. The storage in the seat is plenty for meal time essentials. The food that got on it was easily wiped clean. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a solution on the go!

Was tired of constantly moving the highchair out of my way, bought this booster seat for our table instead, LOVE IT! I use it all the time, not just at home. It's perfect for traveling, the zippered storage compartment holds wet wipes, a diaper, snacks, bib, and even a sippy cup eliminating the need to carry a diaper bag into a restaurant. Straps easily onto a chair and have even used it in a booth. I clean it with a damp cloth and some Dawn dish soap which works great. Would definitely buy again.

I was looking for a portable booster to take with us to restaurants so we can sit in booths and avoid the sometimes DISGUSTING restaurant high chairs. Our boys still need to be restrained in some way, so they're not ready for a plain strapless booster yet. I tried three different portable boosters - this one, the Summer Infant pop & go and The First Years' on-the-go booster. All are nice and compact, and this is actually the largest of the three. But, it was my favorite for a few different reasons. The base is plastic which makes it nice and sturdy (this is a contrast to the The First Years seat, which is inflatable and a little wobbly from side to side under pressure). The waist strap sits at the actual waist, rather than at the base of the hips (like the Summer Infant). I also like the added storage inside. It helps to balance out the overall size of the item, since you can tuck in a bib, folding plate, silverware and wipes... which we would most likely need / want to carry anyway. If it means I can carry one less bag with me, I'll take the slightly bulkier item! Finally, I liked that this booster has little grippy pads on the base of the unit. The unit I received (the blue model shown in August 2018) does NOT have the four flip-out feet that are pictured in some of the other reviews. Just FYI. Anyway, since we're looking to use this in booths at restaurants, it will help me to feel more secure than The First Years booster, which does not have any grippy pads. The Summer Infant chair is OK, but seemed much less secure than either of these other models for what we wanted to sue it for. The straps are nice and sturdy, which is nice. I tested all chairs out on our fabric dining room chairs, which are pretty wide. The straps on this chair are slightly shorter than the ones on The First Years booster, but still plenty long enough to fit around our chairs securely. The clips that fasten the straps around the child's waist in this chair are fully exposed. This could be a pro or a con, depending what you're looking for (and whether or not you have a little Houdini on your hands). They're very easy to access when you're ready to strap in or ready to leave. The clasps on The First Years booster are tucked inside a little fabric sleeve, so you have to dig for them. It's not difficult... just not quite as "get up and go" as with this one. One other thing to note... I didn't think there was a strap that would wrap around the bottom of the chair. After looking at the pictures, it seems that you can extend the shoulder strap and wrap that around the chair. The straps are sewn to lay flat when used as a shoulder strap, so it isn't obvious that this would be what should be used to wrap around the bottom of a chair. Just in case someone else has the same question I did!

Love, love, love, this! Daughter is a year and a half and very mobile; we've used it at home and in restaurant chairs with no issues. It's the perfect height for her to sit comfortably at the table. The straps are reasonable for adjustments and the storage space is perfect for trips out of the house. She loves it so much that she likes to just sit in it on the floor.

This little item is inexpensive and perfect. Our granddaughter was visiting for a week and I wanted her to be able to sit at the table but I didnt want to store a full size highchair when shes not here. We also took it to the restaurant because we have encountered some that dont have them and most of them are kind of dirty. The outside is a nylon fabric. It has a solid "seat" inside. There is room inside for a couple diapers, wipes. cup. It worked out a lot better than I thought. It has two adjustable straps to secure the back and we didnt do it but I think the "strap" is to secure the bottom. When not in use you tuck all the straps in the seat, fold the back down and secure the back with a couple of tabs. Even my daughter loved it.

Bought this for our 3 week trip to visit family and loved it so much that we ended up using it at home after! We took it to several restaurants, Disneyland, and now it works as a great booster at our dining table. Everyone (even strangers) comment on how much they would have liked a seat like this for their toddlers. We haven't had any problems with it. Easy to keep clean, good storage underneath, sturdy, cute, and convenient! Would definitely recommend this seat for the traveling parent!

I use this every meal of the day for my almost 2-year-old son. The straps are so easy to adjust that when I want to have him at the bar while I'm cooking dinner I can put it on a taller chair or when he wants to sit at the table with me I can put it on one of our lower chairs. It has a great zipper compartment that I stick two rubber bibs, fork & spoon and a sippy cup top in. The adjustable plastic legs on the bottom are also a really nice feature that allows the chair to be a bit higher. And the shoulder pad on the thickest strap is really nice extra feature for carrying.I take this up to my family's house for weekends and holidays and it saves them from having to put out a highchair and fits all of the chairs I've tried. Make sure that all the straps are tight as I learned, my son likes to tilt to the side, he has never fallen out though.

I don't write a lot of reviews, mainly because I don't have time (and I forget) but we've been using this for about a week and love it. I got it to go on vacation. I have a two-year-old son about 35 pounds who will not sit still. I think my favorites things are (1.) the hard bottom seat and (2.) the storage inside the seat. I didn't even bring a diaper bag on this trip and I fit my wallet, a change of clothes, 6 diapers, a pack of wipes and 2 snack cracker bags (that was for a whole day walking around Savannah). Most of the time I carry wipes and some diapers and there is room to spare! You can even undo the Velcro inside so there is a little more room (that's how I fit my wallet in). The pocket is easy to get to also when you're carrying it. I like the option of the feet to raise it up. We haven't had to use it yet, but would if he was younger or smaller/shorter. I was worried about not having a 5-point harness, but my little one seems incredibly content with just the lap harness. He hadn't done any of his typical fidgeting or trying to stand up. I think he likes sitting at the table rather than the high hair (which usually has broken straps, if a restaurant has one at all). Cons? The only one was the thick carrying strap. It is adjustable but if it could be a little longer that'd be great. For all day carrying, I wore it shoulder to hip and it dug in a little towards the end of the day. But it didn't bounce around while walking, I barely noticed it was there. This has been one of my smartest Amazon purchase yet (and we buy a lot). Wish I had it for my 5 year old! My friend is having a baby, I think I might get one for the shower!

I have 2 toddlers and my older one being 2.5 was more into the booster seat stage at restaurants and after running into constant problems finding many restaurants that had 2 working high chairs that weren’t wobbly or had broken straps so I couldn’t keep him sitting was becoming a real struggle. The booster seats at most restaurants don’t have a seatbelt and are easily tipped. This thing was a LIFESAVER! Took both my kids to a restaurant last night and used this for my older one and let me tell you whoever thought of this is the real MVP in my book. This thing is compact with an easy carrying strap and buckles around the seat in 3 different places while having him in a 3 way buckle to be strapped into the seat he loved it cause he got to sit in a big boy chair and I loved that he was safe and couldn’t get things on the table that were outside of the baby radius as there was hot tea and hot soup on a burner on the table. Also the fact that under the seat itself is a zipper compartment with the actual booster inside but it has that extra space in the middle for extra diapers and wipes which are a must have when your toddler is eating making a huge mess. Eliminated the need to bring in the diaper bag with the essentials being under his butt. By far one of my favorite baby items I’ve ever bought. Couldn’t recommend more highly!!!
