Finally got tired of having a rats nest of wires hanging off of the wall in my closet so decided to put in a mini wall rack. Still have some cabling to tighten up in the attached picture, but wanted to show the shelf in place. I needed a shelf to hold the modem and my router. Since the shelf is so sturdy I ended up adding in my WD MyCloud drive as well. Originally I was looking at a slightly smaller depth rack, but found this one instead. Glad that I did. It is a very solid shelf (rated for more weight then my wall mount is). Also has excellent ventilation slots, I'm not worried about anything overheating below this shelf. All in all very impressed with this shelf so far. Would definitely pick up another one in the future if the need arises.

Easy to install, came with all the screws/nuts. These are self-explanatory shelves, key is they are smooth (no cuts on your hands!), strong, hold all the equipment and dont take up extra space in the rack. My only hesitation is I would prefer a version that had mounts for the rear rails, but with two screws up front on each side, the rack seems stable enough. Perhaps they make this, I didn't find it for my particular size shelves. Highly recommend and at the right price. They curiously inserted a flyer on their stereo rack shelves, which I think is pretty cool and will probably migrate that direction for the stereo outfit next!

I wasn't expecting much when I ordered it. Its a shelf. I was very impressed with the build quality of this upon opening it. Heavy duty. It more solid than my actual rack! I think my rack is more solid now. Nice thing I didnt notice when I ordered it was that it has some holes in the sides right behind the mount. Im using this to mount a Dell R210 ii because I didn't want to spend $80 on the correct rails. I think it fits better than the Dell rails. The pegs the server has fit right into the opening on the shelf. Well done!

This is a high quality shelf. It is heavy gauge metal and appears to be powder coated paint (very durable). The vents allow for air flow and a place to run zip ties for securing equipment. The shelf gets its great strength from all four edges being either bent (sides) or rolled (front/back). If you need a nice looking, shallow shelf and don't plan on putting more than 20 to 30# in the middle, this is a good way to go. I'm using it to hold my HF radio and power supply side by side and it works great.

Solid heavy construction - 14 Gauge -- that's 2MM+ with the paint. Nicely rounded edges, matte black hard baked-scratch free paint -- look like powder coating based on the smoothness, thickness and rounded edges. Perfect width for one U servers with all the holes in the right places. Easy to add front locks. Front and back edges provide additional strength with 4mm of space for ventilation in case it seats on a flat solid shelve.

This shelf by AC Infinity is a very high-quality shelf. The ventilation on the bottom and on sides allow for a very strong air flow but is still extremely supportive. The shelf is made from a very high-quality material and mounts perfectly in a standard 19-inch wide equipment rack. The shelf itself comes with 8 mounting screws and is very well packaged with extremely fast shipping. I can highly recommend this product.

I bought this product for a server project. The server project was to build a mini/small server lab. It arrived on time and it had good packaging. It came with the mounting screws to mount it onto my server rack. In the past, I ordered 2 racks from a different brand and they didn't come with the screws; I had to buy them separately. I'm glad that it included them. This rack was easy to install; it only took a few minutes. I ordered 2 of these; One was for my UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) and the other was for my cable modem. The UPS weighs more than the modem and this rack is lightweight, strong, and durable.

Ok, when I ordered this product I was expecting some flimsy sheet metal. This thing is solid...... So solid I think you could make ladder steps out of it for my 200 pound fat self. Very strong, will order again.

Strengths: Construction, design, hardware included Weaknesses: None noted Recommendations: Absolutely recommended if you need a 1U shelf Notes: Not too sure what all I can say here. It's a really well built shelf that appears to be able to hold way more weight than I would ever put on it. The slots in the bottom are nice to secure things on (for whatever reason... earthquakes, house gets picked up in a tornado and your server survives, etc...). Mine included mounting hardware (can never have enough of those). Might be a little bit more money than others, but I have some less than durable shelves and I will probably replace all of my 1U shelves with this one. Highly recommend.

I really expected this to have some amount of flimsiness given its low price. However, what I received is quite thick and heavy, leaving no chance this would bend or skew no matter what is set onto it. It's VERY rigid and sturdy! I'm using this with a V7 brand 6U Wall Mount Rack Cabinet (which I highly recommend), and with the 10.5” depth of this shelf, it fits the cabinet well with just a few inches of space behind it.
