Funky, well-made fan

Bought this fan for my daughter's bedroom re-do for her 16th birthday. If I'm not mistaken, the fan came with a remote control for the light/fan control, but I was able to eliminate it, as we are very much into home automation via Wink and voice control via Alexa. The fan it replaced had separate z-wave wall switches for the light and fan control, and we wanted to use them. I called the fan funky in the headline because it's like no fan I've ever hung before. It's rock solid and all the blade connections are hidden inside the metal casing. The fan is super quiet and the light is decently bright. The fan is very sharp looking.

Quality Product with Easy Install

I have assembled and mounted many fans but this one by far was the easiest. In addition the construction is smart and sturdy. The instructions were decent, a few parts were not mentioned but were common sense - regarding the placement of the remote unit. The assembly went withoput a hitch and all worked on the first try. The remote is nice - how about white for it and its mount? Pretty nasty tan color.

I have a hunter fan in every room in my house because I don't have time or money to waste replacing fans every few years. I am remodeling my basement and I wanted two fans for both sides. The Dempsey model has a more modern look to it and the low profile fits my needs. The fan is well made and the instructions are easy to follow. Installation was easy and the fan looks great. If I have a negative, it's that the remote for the fan has 3 speeds which is easy to use. The button for increasing or decreasing the light doesn't have a stop when you get to full bright. If you hold the button to cycle to light it will go from dim to bright and back to dim without stopping. Not a big deal, but would have been nice.

Great quality fan at an affordable price

I researched quite a bit and found Amazon was the cheapest and also had this one in stock. I already have these fans in my house, but wanted to add one to my master bedroom. Very easy to install, whisper quiet, and high quality. They look very expensive too. The light itself isn’t super bright so if you want a real bright light, this will disappoint. But it’s good enough for my needs. The remote is also super handy, with 3 different fan settings and in the dark it’s easy to find the light button because it is separate from the fan buttons.

very nice looking light/fan; initially, light dimming option did not work. However, I called the customer service line and they gave me instructions to get the dimmer working - hold fan"0" button and push light button twice (quickly). Now, it works perfectly! I really like this fan/light.

I like that you can put regular bulbs in them

I have two of these. They are whisper quiet. I like that you can put regular bulbs in them. There is a black and a dark brown side to the blades, so you can pick which way to face them.

Finally found this one and am VERY happy with it

Spent ALOT of time looking for a small room fan with light and remote that was reasonably priced. Finally found this one and am VERY happy with it. I was able to put it together and install it myself in a little over an hour. My husband was quite impressed and happy with it as well! The only drawback is that I will be getting bulbs slightly brighter than the ones it came with.

Great fan

This is exactly what I wanted. It was very easy to install and sits nice and close to the ceiling. Looks modern. I did not mount the remote control on the wall or switch, I just use the wall switch for the light and then use the control for the fan. One thing I do recommend is to get some brighter light bulbs then come with it. I put in two 14.5W LED dimmable and that provided the brighter light I wanted.

Easy install

I struggled to find a ceiling fan that I liked for a good price. This one does it! It looks great and was easy to install. My husband was particularly impressed with the packaging as it made the job easier. For example, for step 2, use the screws in the bag with the square on it. For step 3, use the bag with the circle on it. All the hardware for each step was organized in a separate bag for each step of the job. He was a BIG FAN of this. He was also impressed that it hung freely from the bracket so he could use both hands to install the motor and connect the wiring. He said there was a lot to assemble, but it was super easy. It took a total of two hours. It comes with remote control and is also compatible with the Hunter wall switch that is sold separately.

LOVE this fan

LOVE this fan. I moved into my house 3 years ago, and have been gradually updating/replacing things. When the old fan broke in my bedroom, this got bumped up on the list. My son's was also old, so I had them replaced at the same time. I got the same fan, but in two different sizes, to fit the 2 rooms. I absolutely love the remote feature - never had that before. It makes it so easy- you can hang on the wall as if a "switch," but then I slide it out of the holder, and place on my nightstand at night, so I can adjust the fan speed if needed, without having to get up. The light is just the amount of light that I was looking for - not too bright. It's also very quiet. I've gotten several compliments on it as well.
