Great solid fan

We needed to update our 1990's fan in our bedroom and wanted something not too fancy, but was solid performance. I was not seeing a lot of reviews where it was installed with 36" drop rod, but it installed perfectly. The wires were long enough to support a 36" extension rod with 12" to spare. On the old fan, I had one light switch for the light and another for the fan. I could not find a way to utilize both switches when installing the remote as they both get wired to only 1 power source. Now I have a "ghost" switch on my wall...

Great buy

These were perfect for our guest bedrooms. They are quiet enough and have a good air flow. Having the remote control is awesome and being able to control light and fan independently is really nice.

Dimming didn't work out of the box, but does now

Easy installation, runs quiet. I installed this fan and a non-low-profile version and neither one had dimming working out of the box. Holding down the light button on the remote did nothing and once it was released, the light just turned off completely. After calling Hunter support, we determined the dimming has to be activated by turning the light off (from the remote), then hold down the fan-off button while tapping the light button twice. After that, the dimming works fine by holding down the light button on the remote.

Great fan

Excellent equipment. Convenient, quite, and produces comfort at a touch. I recommend this fan.

Quite, nice air and great quality... and some nitpicks.

When assembling the fan, you can tell it's very well built. The fan is very quiet with great air flow. Light is nice and warm and feels appropriate for a bedroom, but may not be bright enough for a work area. Only criticism: Because the light has two Edison styled blubs, the light is uneven with hotspots. I expected it to be much more even because of the product pictures. (see picture). The remote holder is shockingly awful. A cheap, plastic claw-like thing that you're supposed to mount on your wall. Aside from the nitpicks, very happy with my purchase.

This is a very quiet fan and it illuminates the entire bedroom. My wife loves it what more can I say

After receiving the fan (took 2 days with Amazon Prime) I unpacked the box and made sure that all parts were included, and they were. I followed the assembly instructions as well as the wiring instructions. I then secured it to the ceiling and turned on the circuit breaker. Everything worked.... the light turned on with the remote and lit up the whole room. I then turned the fan on with the remote and tried all three speeds and they all functioned properly. I then went through the balancing procedure (included in the instructions) only to find that it was perfectly balanced and didn't require any counter-weights that would have had to be attached to the fan blades. This seems to be a very well made fan and I highly recommend it. Amazon did well with this pick! Not to forget that the price was the best I saw during my research for the right product.

Very nice light and fan! Easy install.

Easy installation if you have an existing ceiling fan support already in place. Does not include a Remote-Activated Reverse -- you must slide a switch in the globe housing to reverse it. But does include the easiest Balancing Kit that I've seen -- a small plastic "clothespin" is used to move from blade to blade, to locate the best placement for the self-adhesive weight (mine only required one). Nice-looking light is brighter than others I've had (their Moderna was horribly dim). And it will take up to 100W-equivalent Daylight LEDs -- that's 14W Each. Only 2 are required. I also like that the flat globe is spring-retained -- you push up slightly and rotate it to fully-seat it in the slots. Does NOT include any extension tube for slanted ceilings. This has provided BRIGHT room light at the highest level I've experienced in an overhead ceiling fan - with the highest-power LED bulbs of 100W-equivalent rating. Choose Cool White for less harshness. I chose Daylight because I've been dismayed by the poor visibility must fans provide. But this is being used in a home-office environment, where I need the most light. Great product!

Great fan for a medium sized room

Ordered 2 of these fans to keep a 15 x 14 room as well as a 13 x 12 room cool. Instructions are very straight forward and took maybe 45 minutes to put the entire fan in assembled. The remote works well and the sensor picks it up with no problems. The light easily lights the room with a nice bright light that would be the equivalent to a 60W bulb. There was no wobble in one room and I had a little in the other but re-tighting everything down the other fan's wobble went away. I only saw the wobble on the first one before adjustment on setting 3. I couldn't be happier with these fans and have definitely made the 90 degree heat in the upstairs bedrooms more bearable. If you get one and the light is too dim press and hold the light button. It increases or lowers the led brightness. It gets very very bright.

Easy installation with clear instructions.

I picked this one because it didn't hang down too far, was fairly small, and was reviewed as quiet. It is more than enough light and air flow for my 12 x 14 bedroom. It definitely is quiet. I was able to swap out my old, clunky fan by myself (although I had to walk away at one point). The trickier part by far was removing the old one. This one was straightforward, and the instructions were super clear. Not sure if they included a wall holder for the remote (it may have been tossed), but that's the only negative I found. I stuck mine in the old fan's.
