Perfect for a 2006 4Runner
If you own a Toyota/Lexus, these motors will save you more money than anything else you can buy on Amazon...even the home 100 Dollar Bill Counterfeit Kit. I've got a 2006 4Runner and I've had to replace motors several times. The first actuator that died on me (front driver's side) I replaced the entire actuator to the tune of $120 and then got smart and just started replacing the motors. I've done the front driver's side twice, rear driver's side once, and most recently I did the rear passenger side. The first time I purchased these motors from Amazon, I ordered the single units, but now realizing how quickly they got bad, I bought this 4-pack for future repairs. I can say that I have yet to replace a motor a second time after repairing it with these motors....but time will tell how long these motors last. Sure, replacing the motor can be a little finnicky--especially the actuators on the rear doors, but it's certainly doable. Bottom line, save yourself some money and just replace the motor. Some of the other reviews are quoting prices over $600 to have the actuator replaced at the dealer.....holy smokes! It's not rocket surgery replacing these things, if I can do it, anyone can. Very happy with my purchase.

This saved me from a miserable existence
Why, oh why are Toyota/Lexus door lock motors so prone to failure? Year after year, they have assembled these door lock actuators with what has to be the world's worst 12v electric motor. I grow tired of being the spectacal in the Whole Foods parking lot holding my organic, gluten free, rainforest certified ketchup whilst looking at my door handle much like a hog looks at a wrist watch . I believed my fate was sealed as the fool forced to crawl through the back seat to gain entry into his "luxury sport sedan". I shudder at the thought of coworkers laughing at my inability to perform such mundane tasks as entering my own darn vehicle whilst attempting a lunch trek. Small children, no doubt, point and snicker with indifference as I pass by knowing I had to fight my way into the very vehicle to which I hold title. Many a time I've had to ask for forgiveness for the foul language witnesed by toddles, teachers and preachers alike. I surrendered my dignity, and accepted my new life as poor-man's safe cracker instead of paying $400 to the dealership each and every time one of these door actuators fail. Alas, the answer to my prayers - a hero in a small package, an item that spares me the insult and embarrassment whilst satisfying my sense of thrift and handiness. These are a perfect replacement for the motor in the door lock actuators for a 2014 Lexus GS350 F Sport. No modifications were required, the spindle is the perfect shape and length. The actuator is simple enough to remove, though you must twist and turn until you find the right angle to fully remove and then again to reinstall. I recommend finding a UToob video to remove and reinstall the door panel for your particular vehicle. You may even get lucky and find one to repair your actuator. My front driver-side actuator only required the removal of 2 screws, then I was able to split the casing enough to replace the motor. I did not have to completely disassemble the actuator to do so. Time will tell if these motors will last or if they will relegate me to my previous state of misery. For now, though, they work well, are easy enough to install and are a very inexpensive option to an expensive and too frequent a problem.

2013 Highlander Hybrid Limited - Saved me a lot of $$$!
Worked like a charm on my 2013 Highlander Hybrid Limited. I had 2 bad doors, Toyota quoted well over $400/door in parts alone to fix the locks. These motors fit perfectly and I was able to install them myself in an afternoon. The install was a little tricky but that was no fault of the Amazon product. If I can provide any advice, it would just be to have patience. Working the door lock actuator out around the window track was a challenge for me, as was re-attaching the exterior key lock and door handle. Take a look at the actuator and the inside of the door before reinstalling, since the window track blocks your view after the door lock actuator is re-inserted past it. There's what looks like a large plastic Philips head screw hole at the top of the actuator. There's a plastic piece on the opposite side of the key hole that needs to fit in there. For the handle, there's a hole with a yellow grommet and a metal pole in the door that needs to fit in there. You can't see these items once the door lock actuator is past the window track, so just be aware of their location since you'll have to fit it by feel alone after the actuator is inserted. Opening the actuator was also a little tricky. There's two screws (one larger one at the door latch, and one smaller one on the side) that need to be removed, and there's a number of plastic clips around the edge that need to be released as well. There's also a plastic shroud over part of the actuator that popped off pretty easily. I found it best to use a small flathead screwdriver to pry open the actuator while progressively releasing the clips with a second screwdriver. I was actually not able to completely open the actuator, but I got it open just far enough to pop the clips off of the old motor, remove it, transfer the gear to the new motor, and insert it. Snapping it back together was easy enough, just don't forget to put the plastic shroud and both screws back on before you reinstall the actuator and the door panel (don't ask me why I know that :)) Also, be careful removing the trim pieces in front of the screws for the door panel. These were somewhat brittle on my car, most likely because they're in the sun most of the day. One of them developed a small crack while I removed it, it's fine, but it will likely get worse (and possibly need replacement) if I ever have to remove the door panel again. I'm not 100% sure, but I would imagine this part would work at least with all of the Highlanders from this generation (2008-2013).

Fixed all 4 doors on my '12 Sequoia
Replaced the motors in all 4 doors and was fairly easy. The only real hard door was the driver's door, since it had the key hole to line up as well as the door handle release. Make sure the child lock is in the open position on the rear doors and always check the door operation before replacing the door panel. The perfect combination of failures got my rear door stuck shut where neither door handles would open it. Took about an hour with a custom made tool to jimmy the door open from the inside. Definitely much cheaper than the dealer parts and service.

Good for Toyota Highlander
Good for 2010 Toyota Highlander base model. One door lock actuator went bad and eventually the rest, so after 7 years of having my car in the last 6 months I end up changing all 4 door lock actuators. I thought it was just one door problem but I guess the motors don't last more than 8 years. I was buying one motor at the time but now I wish I both all 4 at the same time for cheaper price and fix all doors at the same time the same day. I watch videos of YouTube to learn how to do the fix myself. I did get one. cheap motor trough other online store and it didn't work. These sold at amazon seen better build.

Fixes faulty Lexus LS430 door locks.
All four door locks were getting tired and only engaging intermittently on my 2003 Lexus LS430 w/Ultra Luxury package (has the soft close feature). The entire door lock actuator is almost $1000 per door straight from Lexus. $200 per door used on eBay. The only piece that tends to fail is this tiny little motor. It is probably an additional 15 minutes of labor per door to take apart the lock actuator and replace this motor, but the savings are huge. All doors work like a charm now.

This motor works as a replacement for auto door lock actuators
This product was used to replace the motor of the front door lock actuators (driver and passenger) of my 2003 Lexus LS430. The motor is an exact replacement of the OEM motor. Am glad it works perfectly and saved me at least $500 vs OEM assembly door lock actuators.

Perfect replacement for OEM part
Works like a charm. I replaced the motor on my passenger side door with this one on my 14 year old Corolla. It is a direct replacement for the OEM motor whose brushes were completely work and there was a lot of carbon buildup. Saved $$ compared to replacing the actuator. I bought the set of 4 so that I have for replacing on the other three doors if and when they fail.

Worked for power doors on Toyota Corolla & Sienna
Used these motors to replace the bad motors in the power lock actuator of a 2008 Toyota Corolla as well as a power sliding door actuator for a 2007 Toyota Sienna. The picture above is the power sliding door actuator from the Sienna. It still has the original motor in it. The new motors seem to be working fine as of now. Saved a lot of money buying these. If you have a Toyota you will eventually have to replace the motors.

Repair 2010 Honda Insight door actuator.
This motor worked great for my 2010 Honda Insight driver's door actuator repair. Replacing the motor in the drivers door actuator has saved me $240.00. Same part inside the actuator. You just have to be mechanically skilled to do it. Or just have the knack of repairing things. Awesome seller. If I had to do it again. I hope I can still reach out to this seller on Amazon for more motors. Thank you very much.
