Okay, so here is my honest review about these butterflies, and I really had to think long and hard about the rating because there were some big issues. Here is why they earned 5 stars: 1.) You get a large number of butterflies in the order 2.) They are BEAUTIFUL. Each one is unique and is designed differently. Some are big, some medium, some small. The wings are different, the colors are different, and they are exquisitely decorated. 3.) They make my daughter's room POP. They are an incredible wall decal and add real character to the room. 4.) I do LOVE them. Which is why they get 5 stars. Here are the issues: 1.) They come with these little white foam dots to put them on the wall with. These foam dots do not work and do not get the job done. They don't hold the butterflies to the wall well enough, and after my daughter and I painstakingly put these on the wall one evening, we woke the next morning to see half of them already on the floor. Also, there weren't even enough dots for all the butterflies to have one (though to be fair, I think it's because they gave me an extra butterfly, not one less dot! I still wish they added a few extra dots in though. 2.) They are each equipped with a gold safety pin in the back. Why? I have no idea. Maybe so you can pin them to a curtain? Anyway, these just get in the way. SO, these are TOTALLY worth it. You should get them, even with the hassle, because they are truly stunning. They are made well, are sturdy, and I know we will use them again and again. After they all fell down we brainstormed how to put them back up. We ended up using push pins, which worked well. You could also hot glue gun them, super glue them, tape them, or nail them to the wall. I know craft stores sell glue dots, and those might work well as these are very light. Fun for a girls bedroom!

These r the greatest wall decor stickers ever...didn't like them at first bc they looked cheap but they really r beautiful once stuck on wall in a decorative fashion make sure to prop the wings up so they. Look like they r fluttering!!

Vibrant colors, realistic looking butterflies with small safety pin.

We added these to the decorations in church for Easter Sunday. The very small safety pins in the back made them easy to apply to the cloth pew backs and banners, but a little awkward for applying to walls and hard surfaces. We were hurrying and didn't attempt to remove any of the pins. The vibrant colors were just beautiful. These butterflies are very realistic looking and for the few dollars spent were a very special touch. The little sticky pads were just too much trouble and we used clear tape rolls just because it was quicker and easier. Some reviews mentioned magnets, but ours aren't magnetic which wouldn't have helped us at all anyway. Two sets of these were more than enough for the 125 seat church sanctuary.

Beautiful! Bright colors, great patterns!

These are even better than I expected! The colors are bright and vibrant, the plastic material that the wings are made of is much sturdier than I expected. The wings can be folded so that the butterflies look like they're in various stages of flapping them, but they can also be laid flat again (can't attest to whether they'll keep their shape if you fold and refold, but bending them once and then flattening them back out worked just fine). I bought them to decorate my room but they're also great for putting on presents or cards, adding them to bouquets of flowers, cupcake toppers, or attaching them to accessories like hats and headbands. The stickers they come with are, indeed, useless - I didn't even bother trying them with the butterflies, there was obviously no point. I bought a $2 pack of mounting putty (Loctite Fun Tak) for sticking them to vertical surfaces, and kept the stickers for other stuff (they're useful for putting up little notes if you need something more robust than a post-it, or for attaching a card to a present). I did end up snipping off all the little safety pins, which in hindsight I wish I'd left a few of them 'cuz I could see how they would be handy.

These are beautiful, so many different designs and colors! I bought them for my daughter's fourth birthday and my mom loved them so much I bought another set for her for Mother's Day. They have small safety pins on the back and would be cute on curtains. I used sticky tack to put them on the wall.

Bright spot for someones day! We used these for a friend that was admitted in the hospital for a length of time. I think these would be cute for classrooms, bedrooms...the list goes on!

Beautiful and versatile!

These are even better than I expected. Lots of pretty colors and designs! Most of all I love the way they look. They're not paper thin, but thin enough to have a nice flexibility to them yet thick enough to have a lot of durability. They included small circle stick on and small clothes pins so you can do so much for them. I purchased them to use as a background for a photoshoot. The packaging was nice as well. All of the butterflies were packaged according to color so they weren't mixed up but nice and organized. I'm even considering buying more!

Very pretty and colorful

Very pretty and colorful. I cut up some command strips and used them as backing to stick to the wall as the stickers given were not suitable. There is a safety pin connected to the back but you can snap them up so you can't even see them when they are on the wall. My son loves his butterflies in his room.

Super cute!

I had to order these for my daughter's school. She needed something to write her name on and be able to pin to something at school. Needless to say, having the pin already attached was what drew me to this item. The butterflies are very cute, there are a ton of different sizes and styles. My daughter was very happy to have extras that she can keep and pin to her curtains.

Lovely butterflies!

These are beautiful and so realistic looking from just inches away! I wouldn't bother with the adhesive pads included in the package. When I wanted to hang them on the wall, I just bought some small Velcro dots. I put the more flexible white side on the wall and the stiffer clear side on the butterflies (just seems to stick better this way, though ideally, it would be nice to have the clear side on the wall). Anyway- this works like a charm! They can be moved around to different dots and you can change the direction they seem to be flying/facing without losing any adhesive power. The little safety pins are a bit weird (though nice for hanging them on curtains if that's your plan). It would be great if you could take them OFF, but they're in there in a way that you would have to cut or otherwise mutilate the safety pin to get it off. BUT, they don't show when you have the butterflies hanging, so it's not a big deal! Hope to update this review with some photos once I get them all hung up!
