- Main chip: Atmega16U2, 100% compatible to Arduino
- This Mega2560 is compatible with most shields designed for the Arduino Duemilanove or Diecimila.
- 54 digital input/output pins, including 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), Clock Speed: 16 MHz
- Stronger RESET circuit.Use 5.5 * 2.1mm DC barrel jack (compatible with 5.5 * 2.5mm DC barrel jack)
- Improved and expert version: 1.0 pinout: added SDA and SCL pins that are near to the AREF pin and two other new pins placed near to the RESET pin, the IOREF that allow the shields to adapt to the voltage provided from the board.

It worked great and immediately for me
It worked great and immediately for me. I simply selected "Arduino Mega ADK" as my board, and uploaded my first sketch. I've read other reviews about people having problems with drivers. I did not experience this. I plugged it in, chose the board, and away I went. The cable that came with my board is much shorter than the one shown in the picture, but I have plenty, so it wasn't an issue. Disclosure: I was given a free sample to review, but my review is positive because the device works.

Works just fine. I am using it with the HiLetGo RAMPS 1.4 board to upgrade my 3D printer.

Nice Arduino board with a lot of I/O pins
This is a review for Mega2560 Arduino board. This board is based on ATmega2560 micro-controller. Compared to Arduino Uno, it is a super sized big brother. In a nutshell, this board provides 54 digital I/O, 16 analog inputs and 4 serial ports. In term of flash and memory, it has 256K and 8K respectively. More detailed specs can be easily found online. Overall speaking, I like this board as it provides more pins for interfacing outside world peripherals. In fact, the main reason I bought this board was to drive a parallel interfaced (16 bit) TFT LCD screen. It would be impossible to do it with an Uno or Leonardo due to lack of pins. I would highly recommend this board if you plan to work on a project using Arduino (5V) that requires a lot of I/O pins.

Sketch Uploaded First Try
This board worked great. My sketch upload first time and functioned properly. Worked with the shield boards I have with no issues. Highly recommended!!!

Awesome board for the price
As soon as I received this Mega 2560 board I was able to upload a sketch to it without any problems. I love the huge number of I/O pins! 16 analog in and up to 54 digital. The only thing I would change is to switch to micro USB, but the USB A is the standard design for the board. It’s great that a short USB A cable is provided since they aren’t very common anymore.

In spite of the image of this board that is included in the product listing, the build quality is quite good. The headers were well aligned and the overall appearance indicated that care and skill were used in assembling it. I was also impressed by how quickly sketches uploaded to this board. Very fast. I would recommend this board--great price and good quality.
