No alternative

As I have crazy dry mouth due to ADHD stimulant medications, I try every possible single thing to keep my mouth moisturized. So far, Biotene is the company with best product line-ups. I goggle with their mouthwash, spray this product into my mouth, and even apply the gel type on my tongue. Now my tongue is not cracked like mid-African Saharah desert.

I suffer from a dry mouth from the drugs I take. This spray is a lifesaver for me especially at night. I keep on bottle near my recliner and one on my bedside stand. I reach for them when I wake up and my mouth is dry. Provides much relief! I highly recommend it.

best to use at bedtime

Have used it for several years...best to use at bedtime. Provides gentle moistening.

Best product for the purpose

I use a CPAP machine at night. I use this at bedtime, especially if I am not using the humidifier. Works well, especially in combination with the mouthwash in the morning Biotene Oral Rinse for Dry Mouth Symptoms-33.8 oz.

Great product!

My brother used this when he was going through chemo and I just bought more for one of my friends going through chemo as well. They have both raved about it and how much it helped with dry mouth due to chemo. Great product!

My doctor recommended it, and I can't get a good night's sleep without it.

I have had to take pain killers for my arthritis for the last couple of years and I found that they caused my mouth to dry up. Once it was so bad that I could not even swallow, it felt like sandpaper. My doctor recommended I get Biotene and see if it would help. It has been a real lifesaver! I squirt a few squirts at bed time and find that it coats my mouth enough so that I can get a nice deep sleep. I am a mouth breather so that aggravates my dry mouth as the air drys it up too. This bottle lasts me about 6 weeks and I feel it is worth it. I have not tried the tooth paste or rinses as I have the problem mostly at night. During the day I drink plenty of water. I can highly recommend this Moisturizing spray if you suffer from dry mouth.

Works GREAT if you wake up in the middle of the night with cotton-mouth!

I bought both, the Biotene oral rinse mouthwash, to take before bed, AND this small sprayer just in case the oral rinse which admittedly only promised 4 hours of relief from dry mouth symptoms--and I did NOT want to have to crawl out of bed with a horrible dry mouth, walk into the bathroom and rinse-out again to get "maybe" another 4 hours Now to be fair, sometimes the oral rinse did the job through the whole night for me--and I am GRATEFUL for that; but I take medications that can give me a terribly DRY mouth in the middle of the night. (for some reasons it doesn't happen in the day, probably because I keep myself well hydrated. But night times were awful. But I found that after a nice rinse with the oral rinse--I could go to sleep, with this handy oral spray (that you do NOT have to spit out) IF I should wake up, (and many times I did) in the middle of the night, all I had to do was reach for this handy spray bottle, squirt once or twice gently into my mouth and move my tongue around and plop back on my pillow and off to sleep I was again.. with absolutely NO dry mouth to deal with for at LEAST 4 more hours and often MORE... Between these two products I sleep comfortably till wake-up time in the mornings with a fresh mouth instead of the nasty sticky dry cotton mouth I used to have to deal with for months. What a relief! If you suffer with this--you can't go wrong with either product; but if you're like me and would like a "backup" beside your bed--this handy spray dispenser is INdespensible. I love it and am so grateful for it!

Biotene

I purchased both the spray and the oral rinse. The mint is indeed gentle making it comfortable to use. I believe it claims to be effective for 4 hours. That didn't happen for me. 1 to 2 hours is more like it. For sure it's better than doing nothing at all and it's certainly better than sucking on candy all day sugar free or not.

Very Helpful Spray

Having dry mouth is a real nuisance, but this spray gives me quick relief. I carry a bottle with me at all times. Very effective.

Good product, a little sweet

I sleep on my back and my mouth gets very dry at night. I like this to refresh without having to drink water, thus avoiding more trips to the bathroom.
