• Lights Dim Over Time, Replace In Pairs: Your lights are a pair, one is never turned on without the other. If one bulb burns out, the other isn't far behind.
  • Instant Illumination: Unlike incandescent bulbs, LEDs illuminate immediately. This "instant-on" technology offers the added safety benefit of giving drivers around you more time to react.
  • Superior Performance: Sylvania LEDs are manufactured with bright, long-lasting, SMD LED bulbs and a thermal management system that extends life and increases performance.
  • May Require A Load Equalizer For Optimum Performance: To help prevent hyper flashing and bulb out warnings, it is suggested that a load equalizer or resistor be installed. See Sylvania's Load Equalizer product.
  • The Sylvania Standard Of Quality: With over 100 years in business, Sylvania is the world leader in automotive lighting for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and the aftermarket.

Forget those festoon lamps with the LED's mounted on little circuit boards. They will not work on the side switched rear cargo lamps on many Toyotas like the Prius, Venza and Rav4. The wide circuit board interferes with the switch that rotates the end when it operates in the on-off function. Only lamps that match the round slim form factor of the OEM incandescent festoon bulb will work. In other applications like dome lights in Toyotas and Nissans, those circuit board LED festoon lamps bend when installed between the spring clips, and the unsurported thin circular metal pan shaped ends will collapsed with the slightest pressure need to insert them. I bought two sents of two of the circuit board type festoon LED's which had the same problem described. While they are less expensive than the Sylvania ones, the functionality and quality of the Sylvanias are worth it.

I replaced my original incandescent bulbs with these LED bulbs and they are a much brighter white light. When I installed the first bulb, I thought it was bad, but I read that these LED bulbs have to be inserted with the proper polarity, so when I switched the bulb's orientation, it worked fine. Another oddity was that when they have been turned from on to off, they will dimly glow for about an hour before they totally go dark. After searching on LED after-glow, I found several articles that mention that the phosphor layer of a LED bulb stores energy that takes a finite amount of time to discharge, so not a big deal. I didn't notice this when I installed them during daylight hours, only noticing this effect at night. In the end, these bulbs worked great and would recommend them.

I used these for the license plate on my fiancé’s 2013 Mustang Convertible. The installation was so easy and fast. The bulbs are pretty bright, they are the “Daylight” colored LED bulbs at 6000k temperature color. I use these same ones on my 07 Nissan Sentra and have had them for four years so I know these bulbs are excellent quality!

Fits my interior dome light. Although the package is labeled "off road use only" I do not feel that this white LED is much brighter than my factory dome light bulb. This LED is very white, while my older bulb was the typical amber color. I wouldn't consider this bulb much of an upgrade in terms of light output, simply a different color.

Hard as heck to get in, but it's a nice bright light. I just got it for fun; no benefit to my visibility since it was for my license plate. I didn't realize I needed two, so I ended up having to get a second one at AutoZone, and one of the guys helped me install both (well, he held the door, lol, but thanks to them lending me another bulb without charge I was able to test and determine this was indeed the right one for my vehicle, it's just hard to install).

My drunk uber riders love the blue dome light when they get in. They get super excited if I leave it on during the whole ride. I also like it on because it makes me feel like one of guys from the blue men group as the light relfect off my shiney bald head. If only Mr. Bezos would ride with me we'd both look like we were part of the blue men group.

love these little guys. they use half the wattage of philips 194 so they don't make your license plate look like a spotlight. plenty bright to keep from getting a ticket for license plate bulbs, although they technically say "offroad use only". use at your own discretion i guess

Fit the rear dome light perfectly on my 2009 C300 Sport. You have to remove the dome unit by prying off. Then disconnect power. Then pry apart dome unit at four points to access the bulb. You will see 4 points where its attached. Before installing bulb check polarity! Very important. Just connect wire harness to test it and reverse bulb if needed. Then snap pieces together connect wire and push back in place. 10 minutes tops.

I ordered 5 of these for the tailgate on my SUV. The incandescent license plate lights were always breaking because of the tail gate being opened and closed constantly. These are more rugged than the OEM bulbs and do not appear to be any brighter than the regular Sylvania LED 6418 bulbs, even though the package says for off-road use only. I would buy them again.

I decided to replace a lesser quality led that failed with the well known Sylvania brand. Notice the built-in heatsink that allows for long-term use without causing damage to the bulb.
