Great for Buffalo WIngs!
Okay. I bake my chicken wings when I'm preparing them for buffalo wings. I used to fry them in a deep fat fryer, but that's a pain in the ass compared to baking. Here's my recipe: get you a baking sheet and a baking rack or two; put the racks on the baking sheet. Cut up your chicken wings, 1-1/2 to 2 lbs, and place them on the baking rack close but not touching. As I recall, I bake them at 350-375 degrees F. for 45 minutes to an hour. I use a convection oven, so it's a little faster than a conventional oven. Once the wings are nicely cooked and crispy, prepare the sauce: 3 tablespoons of salted butter, 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of Texas hot sauce. Every now and then I use a different hot sauce for variety, but the Texas sauce usually pleases the most people. These baking racks are great because they are stainless steel and don't rust or corrode like the chrome plated kind. They're also a perfect fit on my baking sheets

Wonderful/Strong/Easily Cleaned
Holy cow these are great baking and cooling racks! I have been using hand-me-down cooling racks to do both my baking and cooling for years and they just could not do what I needed. The ones I had before only fit 3/4 of a cookie sheet and had big spaces where certain food items would fall through. And even though my old racks had big spaces, they were impossible to clean due to not being a high quality stainless steel. I predominately use these racks for making treats for my dog which includes jerky and homemade doggie biscuits and also for cooking bacon and jerky for my human family members. They fit perfectly in a standard size cookie sheet and the legs on the bottoms of the racks give a nice amount of room between what you are cooking and the pan below. The tall legs also leave a nice amount a room between the food product and your countertops if you are cooling food. I will warn you that due to the height of the legs on the racks, you need to be careful when moving your cookie sheets or the racks will slide right off with your food lol. But that’s literally the only thing that you need to worry about. The spaces on these racks are little squares which makes it so whatever you are cooking doesn’t fall down into the pan. I thought the the small squares design would make the racks hard to clean—but nope, these racks clean up beautifully! Cooking jerky on my old racks was no joke when it came to clean up, I had to soak and scrub with a scratchy sponge. But with these racks, I literally just throw them in the dishwasher. If, by chance, some leftover meat is still on the racks due to my laziness with cleaning, I’ll either just run them thru the dishwasher a second time or I’ll pick the dried food off with my fingernail. That may seem like a tedious process, but it’s not because there is never much jerky left on the racks after the dishwasher (if any at all). I bought 2 of these racks and they were delivered incredibly fast. The only gripe I will make about the shipping process is that they sent them in simply a padded envelope. Even though these racks are incredibly strong and heavy, I don’t like when companies try to cut corners by mailing out items in envelopes or bags. I can understand the company not wanting to waste a big box, but you’d think they could mail them in boxes similar to what Amazon mails their books in in order to protect our purchase. Anyhow, that’s all I think there is to say, if you are looking for baking and cooling racks, look no further. I researched the heck out of racks before choosing these. They are made in China (unfortunately), but I couldn’t find any true stainless steel racks like this made in the USA. I guarantee you will not regret buying these.

Love This Little Rack
This is a great little rack. I bought the smallest size to fit the small grill pan that goes with my counter top convection oven. It's heavy-duty - - much heavier than I thought it would be and cleans easily. I sprayed it with cooking spray first and then loaded it with sausage patties. The little "feet" on the bottom kept the sausage from sitting in grease and they browned nicely. Clean up was a breeze--nothing stuck. The only thing I didn't like is that the rack is narrower than described in the specs. I measured my pan before ordering and the rack as described would have just fit but it's actually an inch narrower. Stinks but I'm keeping the rack.

am I glad I did
I was replacing some old rusty cooling racks. I saw this one, and ordered the small for use in our convection/toaster oven. Wow, am I glad I did. The 8.5x12 fits perfectly in the Nordic Ware Baker's 1/4 sheet pans. (The combination fits wonderfully in our Breville convection toaster oven.) Nice, extremely sturdy stainless steel rack. As the product description says, you really can use it as a trivet for heavy items. I put cast iron pans on it, and it didn't seem to flex at all. Nicely constructed. The welds are neat and tidy , without scorch marks or "extra material". No broken welds. Several runs through the dishwasher, no signs of rust, not even at the welds. Smoothly finished around the edges, with no wires hanging over to snag on anything. I fully expect this to last for many years! VERY happy with this rack! And yes, I paid regular purchase price out of my own pocket - no compensation for trying it out, or anything like that. :-)

Dad's girls said, "Well done!"
I'm the dad, not the cook. But I do know hardware and tools. I got this cooling rack because my girls told me they didn't have good quality baking equipment. I researched and then bought this rack based on a friend's use and positive comments about it. You can beat a man to death with this thing. It's heavy, solidly built, won't bend or deform from abnormal use and does it's job with attitude and an over-engineered style. I bought one because I had no idea what I was doing. Now I'm buying three more because, apparently, you have to have four. I don't mind a bit. It made my girls squeal happy noises and it satisfied my manly definition of a solid tool. I did good.

Versatile and great quality
The rack fits perfectly into my baking sheets. I love that the mesh is small enough that cookies stay nice and flat as they cool; my old cooling racks had just single rows of wire, which made placing cookies on it a balancing act! And the generous surface area holds plenty of cookies at a time, so one rack meets my baking needs. That said, I use the baking rack primarily to make bacon in the oven. I can get around eight slices or so on the rack, more than I can do on the stove. The mesh keeps the bacon nice and flat, with little or no curling during cooking -- something else I can't achieve on the stove! The one drawback of the baking rack method is that the small mesh is tedious to clean, as there is a lot of wire that must be cleaned on both sides. I've used this baking rack at least once a week for almost a year now, and it still looks and works like new. I'm very happy with this product!

Finally, a rack you can actually BAKE on
We have tried a lot of different racks in the past even after seeing reviews that suggested they might not be good for baking, only cooling. I was very happy to find this one that can do both! Even better, it was suggested by a youtuber that focuses on Sous Vide (Sous Vide Everything). He uses it with clips to hold vacuum sealed bags with food in place within the water bath. Meaning, this has held up well for baking, cooling and being used under water. For the price, you can't beat this rack! And just a tip, when you bake something on it, spray some cooking spray on it and it cleans up pretty easy.

Finally found something that food can't fall through!
This is the first cooking rack I've found that's 1) not coated with chemical non-stick and 2) spaced so tightly that food doesn't fall through. I've already cooked with this twice. It's heavy duty, doesn't warp, and washes up nicely. I was so tired of my chicken tenders falling through the wiring of my racks that I almost gave up. I'm so glad kept looking and found this on Amazon. There is so much you can do with chicken on these racks. It turns out so much better than just slapping it on a cookie sheet. Oven fried chicken with Frenches Onions coating is the best. The other nice thing about it is that you would think all of those grid lines would make for sharp edges. I recently sent a rack back for leaving silver metal splinters in my fingers and in my chicken. This one is smooth as can be. Seems to be very good quality. UPDATE 9/28/2016: I've been using this at least once a week for five months, sometimes twice. I don't baby it, I put it in the dishwasher, and it's held up great! This is by far the most useful tool I have in my kitchen.
