Fun for the kiddos, keeps them busy for hours, great Quality toy
Hours of fun for younger and older kids. My Grandson's love playing tools. They grew up helping Grandpa and enjoy using tools. Fun affordable set for the kids to learn with. I love Vtech quality. Vtech has been around since my Daughter's were little and now provide hours of fun for my Grandson's. This kit includes electronic fix-it tray, working toy drill, hammer, wrench, nails and screws and will require 2 AA batteries.

This is the best set!
I ALMOST returned this and got a flashier tool box and I am so glad I didn't. This is my boyfriend's favorite present for our son this year. It's super easy to use and can do so much. My son especially loves the drill (he mimicks a drill noise when he uses it. So cute. ) and hammering the nails into the bench and then removing them with the wrench. It came with a couple card overlays that fit into the bottom of the box for storage if you have a little one who's too young for them. The drill doesn't fit in the box but my boyfriend pointed out that drills are usually part of their own set and have their own bag anyway. 😂😂 Give it a try!

The Drill is awesome!
I thought this would be a great toy for my newly 2yo daughter who loves to "help" play with tools and Daddy fix things, and I was right! She gravitated straight to use the drill to spin the gears, and was so proud to "do it myself!" Daddy was very enthusiastic that the drill was able to reverse and not only screw in, but unscrew as well with a flip of a little button -- just like a REAL one! Mommy was thrilled that the drill doesn't require batteries. This toy has some really cool features, including the two double-sided cards that fit over the holes and are interactive, helping to teach colors and numbers as your little one hammers/screws. There are buttons on the front that play songs, make noises and light up different colors. Admittedly, there are more realistic toy hammers and wrenches on the market, but the ones in this set are simple and functional with the screws/nails included. When my 2yo allows it (she's still learning to share,) my 5yo son enjoys this toy as well. Since he aspires to be a "Fixer" when he grows up, he has more realistic tool and building toys, but he still plays with this when he gets the opportunity! He really likes the cool reversing function and the ROAR of the drill, and seeing what the interactive cards do. He's been using the drill to "fix" various things around the house. My 11yo daughter isn't much of a handy-person, but she liked listening to the songs and figuring out the different features, too. My only gripe is that the drill can't fit into the toolbox, or there isn't a clamp to attach it to the side for easier storage/organization. I think this toy could appeal to a wide age-range of kids, and would make a fantastic gift. After two weeks, it is still played with daily here!

'Real feel' drill set and tool kit, highly recommended.
I was in that constant confusion about 'what to gift' for one of the birthday parties that I was invited to. Then bumped in to this one when I was searching for a drill set (Actual, real, drillset). I ordered it just to try out. Since there was a 'try me' option for the drill, I was able to try it out before gifting. Anyways, after giving it to my friend's son, he was super excited to use this. I also joined him to play and let me tell you, it is super fun and it just feels like the real tool set. If you really want to give your kids a 'hands on' experience of drills and tools, look no where else, this is the deal.

Perfect for 3-year-old grandson!
My 3-year-old grandson saw this on an ad insert in another VTech product, and along with the robot, he asked for the toolbox. He was so cute asking for the "Bo-Bot" (robot) and toolbox, that Santa had to bring them to him for Christmas. He loves using the drill that actually works to screw in and remove the screws from the toolbox.

Grandson is in love
Purchased for my grandson and he loves it! He has drilled and hammered on every thing! Recommend for every 3 yr old who has the love of building in his soul! My only wish is that the drill fit in the tool box.

One of my favorite VTech toys!
This is a brilliant toy which kept my 2 year old son entertained for ages. The drill is really cool and works in both directions to screw the screws in and out. I was a little worried the trigger would be too stiff for him to use, but with a little effort he uses it fine. I love the card games that can be used (4 in total) and makes the game educational but fun, even for me and my husband. The carrying case is nice and holds everything but the drill. You can close it up and have him play with the pieces on the outside if you don't want to deal with all the bits and pieces. The hammer and wrench are great little pieces that capture his attention. It's a great little gift and great value. We have quite a lot of VTech between him and my nephew and nieces and this is one of my favorites.

Great toy - he loved it!!
Bought this for my 3 year old nephew and he loved it. The Drill works with a squeeze handle so he was intrigued in getting the screws to tighten and loosen. Very cute toy and was priced well. The only comment I have is that once you put it all together the drill doesn't fit in the toolbox for storage. Other than that, it includes different activity cards and is a fantastic learning toy.
