Easy to install

I installed this on my new Honda 15hp outboard motor for break-in RPM and Time works prefect. It took all the guess work out of break-in. Easy to install. Love it. Someone reply to a question ask and said put it on a trash can. Well sorry you got the 1 in 10 that did not work. Mine works as it advertised.

Searon Tach on Mercury 3 cyl. 4- stroke

worked perfect on 2017 Mercury 25 efi, 3 cyl. I was able to use tach to get the right prop and the hourmeter for when to service, I did change the refresh rate from .5 sec. to 1 second for smoother tach. Installed prior to starting new motor now I can do the break-in by the book.

Great Tachometer for Zero Turn Mower

Bought a new zero turn mower and put this one so I can be sure the Kawasaki engine is running at 3600 rpm. Easy to install and matches my tach gun so it is accurate as well. Highly recommend.

Tacho meter

Works brilliantly with my home inverter generator. A must if you running any home generator, especially when it comes to service intervals. Instructions was easy to understand although it looks complicated, I just used my generator instruction manual for appropriate data to program into the tacho meter. Backlit makes this unit a good choice to operate at night. Good buy.

Works as Stated

I hooked this up on my new generator to monitor the hours used. It seems to be working fine. Shows me the engine RPM as well as hours in use.

Excellant RPM meter!!!!!

Works great! I installed this meter to my hopped up Honda GX200 to see what RPMS it was turning and to make sure I do not over rev the little engine. The wire is very long, but you can shorten it with a pair of wire cutters like I did with no ill effects to the meter or an accurate reading. With a stage 1 kit installed my little motor turns 5650 rpm's now. Very pleased with the purchase.

Best tach for the money

We use ours on a racing kart and works perfect. Only reliable cheap one I have found that allows for battery replacement, max rpm recall, backlit, and waterproof. I suggest everyone at our track to buy one if they don't have the hundreds it takes to buy a Mychron.

Works great

My engine is smaller HP than the my boat was wired for. Rather than removing the tach I just added this one and it works great. I did extend the wire with the same gauge wire about 6 feet with now issues. Tach is reading what the engine manufacturer says it should at open throttle. Great for price...

Easy Install, Good display

Installed on 6hp Yamaha outboard. Installation was easy - routed wire through seal and wrapped end around spark plug wire. Mounted tach to area above throttle handle using Velcro (provided) tape. Intend to remount to another location for easier reading of display. Observed read out across RPM range and noted run time was being collected. Time will tell if it can stand up to a marine environment but consider it a useful tool for monitoring engine performance.
