• Contour Gauge Duplicator 10 Inch for precision cutting in vinyl, wood, porcelain and ceramic tiles. Can be used for base molding, chair rails, crown molding and finishing door and window frames. Copy shapes to tile, laminate, engineered wood, solid wood, and vinyl flooring to precisely cut flooring to match objects.
  • Constructed from ABS plastic for strength and durability. Plastic teeth will not rust over time.
  • Contour gauge is 10” in length with a measuring guide which molds to the frame. 10 inch design will around most common pipes and round columns.
  • Designed to go around pipes, round columns, conduits and irregular shaped walls. Gets rid of wasted material by eliminating guesswork of dimensions.
  • Easy to use: press the durable teeth against the obstacle to match the contour and then trace the shape.

Bought this for my husband and he is very pleased with it. He did remove one of the “teeth” in order to make it work (as was suggested by another reviewer) and it works fine.

The ABN Contour Gauge Duplicator is exactly what I need to finish up several niche projects around my house! GREAT quality!

This is great for figuring out how to cut tile going around a corner or odd shapes. It is so much easier than trying to figure out on my own and I don't have to guess at the right angle.

A great tool and the extra length helps “copy” those extra wide spots....saves time!

Compared to the old-school wire fingered version I've used in the past, this was much safer for delicate surfaces. The fingers are loose enough to delicately shape the curve and stiff enough to stay in place. Two drawbacks: The depth of the fingers being less than 2" and I couldn't figure out how to join two units together to form a longer gauge. This maybe something to figure out at a later date. Beyond those two limitations, it's the best gauge I've used and have already recommended it to some of our museum clients.

Complex curves can easily be transferred from the piece to the item you’re carving or building. Tool is about 12” long, and pins can be tightened or loosened pending your needs.

Bought this after watching a YouTube video on how to make custom canards. Would've liked a longer one but this made duplicating a curve super easy!

Thia gauge work great for what I'm using it for. Mostly to gauge contours when restoring cars. It's a bit bulky for fine woodworking. For that I would go with a metal gauge.

I bought this to make pieces for my boat. I needed the large size and one that did not need to press against it to hard. This one is terrific. Large enough and the pins move with just a little pressure and still held its shape when I transferred it to the wood.

Good overall. I’m using it for body panels to get as close shap as possible to the other side with out the extra work to match one to another.
