This hour meter fit the existing hole for an old depth gauge on our boat. The only problem was finding a 12 V source that didn't affect the outboard motor operation. I ended up connecting to the existing volt meter in the console (only on when in the run mode). Now it is counting the hours to the next oil change.

Bought a new generator. Want to keep up with run time for maintenance purposes, and this fits the bill. A snap to install. 15 minutes and you're done. Pretty accurate as far as I can tell. Could pull out the old stop watch, but dont feel the need. One thing, be sure to buy mounting bracket. This dosent come with one.

I got this july 11 for my new boat. I installed it on sept 11. I had a problem with one of my leads. now it runs perfect. I used a 2" round holder. easy to set up. I have it hooked to a battery to run it up the the correct hours.

Using this on my 2017 Mercury 75HP OB motor. Was able to get it on before the motor ever saw the water. Super easy install and really looks nice. Hoping it will help me maintain a count on the hours for the boat which I plan to have the rest of my life!

Install was a little difficult as the housing I had to use and the gauge we not quite the same size. But with a little modification everything is great. Wish there would have been more documentation on how to use the supplied mounting system.

minimal packaging, but a sweet indicator. We're going to install the meter so that we can do preventative maintenance on our yachts hot water heating boiler.

The second one I bought for a friend to keep the time of use in his post-MarĂa generator. The first one worked so accurately that I found the perfect gift to keep powerplant's maintenance on schedule.

This product was a direct replacement for the $90 hour meter Terex wanted me to buy. Looks identical except I have enough money for food and beer plus the meter.

I installed this product on my Chris-Craft diesel-powered boat and wanted to get the hours aligned with the runtime on the engine since rebuild let it run for 2 days exactly show 48 Hours on the meter very accurate I'm happy

I first looked on Ebay. $43.00 for a John deere gage This item was $14 and a perfect fit. Two wires and I'm done. Gotta remember to check Amazon first!
