Such a good deal for the price

Such a good deal for the price. Took my 3 year old daughter on her first camping trip and these were awesome. Easily fit my large head and was even able to size down to fit on my little girl's head with no trouble at all! Granted I've only had them a week, but we've had no issues so far!

Great price, good quality

These headlamps are much better quality than I anticipated for the price. The adjustable straps are awesome, they fit our young kids as well as adults.

Just as good as the more expensive ones

I needed a replacement for a $30 Primos headlamp, but they no longer make one where the light can pivot up and down on a base plate. I also like the crown strap which Primos no longer offers. When I saw these at $4 each, I thought, "These can't be any good, but for $20 I'll give it a shot. " Turns out they are just as good as headlamps costing eight times as much. I now have one everywhere I might need a light, and still had one left over to give to a friend. Killer deal.

Great Headlamp

Bought these for my grandsons to go on a family camping trip. There are two 4 yr olds and a 9 yr old. It seems it is very difficult to keep up with flashlights when there are so many other things to worry about. Such as climbing trees, looking at bugs, and etc..... I thought the head lamps would be easier to keep up with. We also went on a cavern adventure. I like how the strap goes across so the light doesn't fall in their eyes. They worked well, were easy for them to use. Of course boys and flashlights are never a losing combination. The only thing is they are very bright and we had to tell them to not shine in peoples eyes because every time they looked up to talk to someone the light also went up. They were a hit.

Excellent Value, Excellent Product

They work great, very durable. Secure over the head and around the head straps make it much more practical than just the headband type. I've still got some from last year and the batteries haven't even died yet. We use them very frequently and not one has broken or disappointed us yet!! Excellent Value

All five work great

Got them today. Loaded all the batteries. Headlamps: All tested perfect. Brightness? Great. Just on the two LEDs is plenty enough for most things. I'm putting two in my truck (in case I have a passenger in an emergency). Two in the house, and the other as a spare. FYI, the batteries are loaded on the right side of the lamp, facing you. Gently twist of (notice how the battery cradle comes out, because when you load the batteries in the cradle, the silver strip must lineup with the grove to reinsert into the lamp) Just take your time. You'll figure it out and be pleased with the results. Dang, they should pay me for these instructions ... :)

Works great AFTER removing a paper disc at the bottom of the battery canister that says "remove quite." The lights came with advertising, but no directions. Three batteries are included. Might need a pointed tool to nudge the paper disk off. Once activated , works great!

Comfortable, bright, and a great deal

These headlamps are a great buy! I purchased them on Tuesday the week Hurricane Florence was expected to hit our area. The big box store was sold out of similar items, so I turned to amazon. These arrived by Thursday, and although my area was fortunate not to be affected by Florence after all, my family has enjoyed having these hands-free flashlights for fort-making! I’m also happy to know we have them for future power outages. With two small kids, we don’t want to be left totally in the dark, and having use of our hands is key. The bands are adjustable and fit my family from age 3 to adult. The lights have three brightness settings plus a flashing setting. Great buy :)

Good deal, we use them a lot.

Good deal, we use them a lot. A bit simplistic and can be designed better, but the price is great. I am bothered most by the switch - I wish there was no flashing... It hurts the eyes. Or if would be nice to have a separate switch for flashing. One more improvement needed: the light has fixed positions - it can be angled down and up, but the steps are too big and there is no good position for the distance about 2 meters ahead - it is either too close or too far - please make smaller steps for angle positions.

Great for camping with kids.

I bought these for car camping with 5 kids and they were perfect. First off, they were able to adjust to comfortably fit a 2 year old, as well as adults. They are super bright so we did constantly have to remind the kids not to shine it in people's eyes. The kids loved that you could also adjust the angle of the beam. The on/off button was easy to use so the kids could do it themselves. We were camping in the middle of the woods with no bathroom facilities, so these were very helpful for the bedtime bathroom run in the woods - made it easier to not have to be holding a flashlight. I also like that they run on AAs instead of button cell batteries - it just simplifies things. While these may not be top of the line, they fit my needs perfectly and the price was right. We only camped for 4 days so I can't say how they will hold up over time, but for the price you can't really go wrong.
