My two year old daughter just absolutely loves these construction vehicles. Makes for great imaginative play to add them to your existing Duplos. She likes to pretend she’s building a zoo or a school and “dig” next to the animals. Very good, durable toy.

Duplo is always great, and this set is simple and fun

It's hard to go wrong with Duplo blocks. My children, three and five, love construction sites, so we got this for him for Christmas. My daughter was able to put it together with no help, and they both enjoy playing with it. The two different construction vehicles are a great match (dump truck and excavator), and the kids like to put them together in a mix and match fashion. The pieces are pretty easy to get together and will stay together (unless you have a kid who immediately likes to pull stuff apart ). My children have enjoyed playing with Duplo from the start. We didn't even bother with the larger set for my second child. He enjoyed this size from the time he could grab hold of things.

first time buy duplos and they are so much better than the mega blocks

first time buy duplos and they are so much better than the mega blocks. a lot of fun to put together. too difficult for my 2 year old to assemble independently but he enjoys assembling them with me. i think the duplos will have a life span of 2 - 3 years before we'll upgrade to the regular legos.

Great for little kids transitioning to bigger toys!

My 2 year old son is always trying to steal his big brother's legos so we got him this to open on Christmas and he LOVES them! They're easy for him to take apart and put together He loves that they're a car and drives it around. He always has a blast with them.

If your child loves trucks, building, and being creative

This is a great first building set for young kids. My almost three-year-old loves the set I bought him and asks for other trucks to build. He takes the trucks apart and builds multiple variations; it’s great for gross motor skills and cognitive development. I highly encourage you to buy this for your toddler. Older kids might be ready for the next level.

Lights Up and Moves!

Super cool. Our 3 year old loves this. Received as a gift. The dump truck is so cool because not only can you put it together, but its dump bed are interchangeable and move, cycle, and rumble. There's music and the wheels even light up, SUPER BONUS as just movement at this price point is expected. Pros: Wheels light up! Dump truck has many interchangeable bed Gears seem solid (toddler holds them in place but these seem to not lose teeth) Cons: Wish they would include an extra screw in case one is last Overall, would definitely buy again. Although a gift we never knew existed, we'll be buying more as gift for friend's toddlers.

Great fun for four year old

My four year old grandsons were so excited when they received this set. They have several other Duplo sets and this is a nice compliment to those sets. They especially like the movable scoop on the excavator and the pivot of the cab. The two workers that are included have movable arms and legs and also hands that are able to clamp onto the ladder they have from another set. I think this will get alot of use

Just right for 2 year old

Just what we needed for our little 2 year old friend when he comes to visit. He can play with the truck and "exclavator" for a long time and loves to have us sit on the floor and play with him. They are the right size for small hands, colorful and well made.

nice set with a couple truck options

I really like this set of lego duplo because it has 2 different trucks included as well as a couple accessories. Many of the duplo sets I found have 1 main feature to build and are just as expensive.
