Perfection!

Exactly was I was looking for. These strainers allow the water to flow through with ease while trapping the smallest food particles. They are much easier to keep clean than the standard strainer/stoppers that have the the rubber stoppers attached. Those rubber stoppers were always collecting scum and took twice as long to clean than these strainers. They are not designed to stop the water for filling the sink, but I only use the sink for rinsing anyway so no loss in that aspect. So far I have utilized these strainers for a couple of months and they have still managed to stay just as pristine as they were when I first removed them from the package. Only takes seconds to empty and clean. I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone who has a septic system and is concerned with keeping unnecessary food out of their system. These strainers are high quality and appear to be long lasting, much better than the cheaper screen type strainers that caused discoloration of the drain rims. Luckily these strainers are the perfect size to cover up the discolored drain rims. I could not be more satisfied with this product. Thank you Fengbao for producing a great product!

Fantastic little strainers

I purchased these a while ago and when they arrived, I was unhappy to see that one of the strainers was buckled along the bottom. It would still work fine, so I wasn't going to send them back. I did post on here that it arrived damaged though. Within a day, the seller contacted me and offered to send me a replacement set immediately. Talk about great customer service! I was really impressed! The second set arrived a few days later and were in perfect condition. These work great, look great, and I am very happy with my purchase. I put one on both sides of my kitchen sink because people were dumping things into the side without the garbage disposal and I didn't want to have to have a plumber on speed dial. Now, if someone has "accidentally" dumped food into the wrong side, I can remedy that quickly.

Simple and Perfect Kitchen Sink Strainer

After trying a few different sink stopper/strainer combos, and getting frustrated with all, I've finally stumbled upon this gem. For my purposes, I don't need to stop the sink, I simply want something to catch chunks, and I have found that the stopper/strainer combos regularly restrict water flow or inadvertently stop the sink when getting depressed by items in the sink. Also, most of those have much larger holes that still allow small pieces (like rice) to pass through, or gaps around them for food to pass. This strainer is a wonderful solution. It sits perfectly in the drain and is flush with the top of the drain. Nothing passes around the sides, and the mesh is small enough to catch everything, yet doesn't seem to impede water flow at all. Because it's not also a stopper, no issues with the sink accidentally being stopped. Plus, these clean easily - I dump the chunks then give them a quick rinse and wipe under running water to get them completely clean and shiny. If someone can have preferences in something as simple as a sink strainer, this would be my choice every time. It's cheap, simple, and perfectly solved the problem at hand. I don't foresee ever needing to replace these, but if I did need to I would buy them again.

Great design and works outstandingly

Upon being tired of having small bits of food going down the drain, I started looking for a new strainer to use in my sink. My old one always seemed to be keeping water from getting out properly, or if I made it possible for liquid to escape, so did any pieces of food that I had not noticed until it was too late. Deciding to get the Fengbao sink strainer was one of the best decisions I have made lately, as it works even better than I had hoped it would. The strainer stays in place, never moving about, and water always swiftly goes through the many holes and does not remain in the sink at all. The stainless steel has held up very well, and still looks just like new after weeks of use. When something does get trapped, I can easily remove it and nothing spills because of the deep design. Getting two strainers at this great price is a fabulous deal, as I now do not have to worry about either of my drains clogging up because I miss some food particles or have something fall into the sink before I can catch it.

Quality strainer that deserves a place in your kitchen sink

First off, the product came extremely fast and was well packed. The fact that you get two is a great idea. Sometimes an item wears out and than you have to remember where you purchased it from and if its still available. I had a similar product, with same outside dimensions: 4 1/2 inches and similar inside dimensions, but the bottom part of strainer was mesh. While I wanted to have very small openings, the wire mesh was difficult to clean out. When it got "gunked up", it would restrict the flow of water, and then you would need a brush to clean the mesh, so water wouldnt back up in the sink. The Fengbao strainer has stainless steel construction, and is much easier to clear the debris that builds up during a washing. You can just quickly scoop it out. That junk is not going down the drain. The ultimate compliment is that my wife loves it so far. The strainer is of very high quality, so I hope it lasts a while, but having a backup was a great concept. Very happy with the strainer.

No more sneaking through...

This 2 piece stainless-steel kitchen strainers are truly a blessing in my home. We, a family of 5, are notorious for letting utensils or our cleaning squares scrappers go down the drain, then they get all scratched up by the garbage disposal :/ The strainers themselves are thin but strong and they stay put where you need them to be. The edges are smooth and water skims through the holes easily. They come in a pack of two for those of you that have double sinks or you have an extra one, like myself, for the single sink. Would I purchase these again? Yes, I would like to get a set for my daughter's apartment. Would I recommend them to a fellow purchaser? Yes. Update 6-15-17. I'm not sure if there are any artists purchasing these but if you are, these are fantastic for cleaning your brushes!

It's not a normal strainer... it's magic

I don't know why, but these strainers have the ability to perform magic that none of my others can do. It fits perfectly in our kitchen sink, nice and flush. It has holes all around so water drains down very well. I've purchased numerous strainers in my life, but these are by far the nicest looking and easiest to take in and out... and the best part is, it does what it says it does... which is strain. My other strainers have larger holes all around as well, but for some reason, these strain much better... i don't know why... it defies the laws of gravity. I'm constantly emptying the other strainers or running the garbage disposal... but with these... not nearly as much. I ended up getting another set for my utility sink downstairs.

2PCS Stainless-Steel Kitchen Sink Strainer - Large Wide Rim 4.5" Diameter

So far I am extremely pleased. For the past 17.5 years we have used multiple other strainers that do not look as nice, or perform as well. I will include some pics of my old and the new strainers. These strainers have a curved edge that fits perfectly into the outermost circle of the drain (see pics) so they look like they should be there and will keep little bits from slipping under the strainer! The product description states that it has a mirror finish, that is very accurate.

Very nice strainers for the price

Love them, they work better than the thin steel mesh I used. Don't clog as often and easier to clean a hundred fold.
