- ACCURATE ANGLE MEASUREMENTS- Measures the angle of any surface with respect to the horizontal (absolute mode) or a reference surface (relative mode). Used to set blade angles on lathes, milling machines and miter, band, table, chop and circular saws. BONUS: Any reading in degrees can be converted to a percentage to indicate slope
- COMPACT- This 2.1-inch x 2.1-inch mini digital protractor is small enough to fit in your pocket or slide into a tool belt with ease.
- MEASURE NOW, CUT LATER- Don’t have a pen or pencil handy, measurement HOLD button saves readings for convenient viewing later
- AUTO ROTATE DISPLAY- value always shows right side up, whether the unit is upside down or not
- MAGNETIC- Built-in strong magnets on the protractor, attach to a saw blade, jointer fence or other metal surfaces. Even attaches to metal tool boxes for easy access.

Nice Angle Guage
This 824 unit takes a few seconds to stabilize after positioning for a measurement. Accuracy appears to be about 0.1 degrees (tested only at 0 and 90 degrees). It does flip the display if rotated more than 90 degrees. The magnetic base is great on my table saw. On my 824 unit, the calibrate button does not work as advertised in the instructions. Two quick presses will place the device in 'relative' mode. This sets the angle to zero degrees for the next relative measurement. And holding this button down for about 3 seconds will return it to 'absolute' mode.

Great tool for your shop.
I like the magnetic feature on the device. It is easy to use and my students can use it without difficulty.

Great little unit for working in areas you can't have two hands free, or don't have the space to place a standard protractor/angle finder. Works great if you need to tack a weld on something at a precise angle while suspending your workpiece with one hand!
