Love it
UPDATE! I messaged the seller about the controller that quit working and received a new one in 2 days. Great customer service. Changed from 3 stars to 5 stars!! I've been racing with the kids and we all love it. Racing with the app is lots of fun. I would have given it 5 stars but one of the controllers (the one with the red trigger) quit working in less than a month of use. Both cars still work on both lanes with the other controller. I'm going to try to contact the seller and if I can get my issue resolved, I'll bump it up to 5 stars.

This is a great starter set!...highly detailed cars and keep in mind they are not meant for young children the cars can only handle so much abuse...also it was here in 3 days with free shipping!

Grandchildren love it !!!!!!
I combined the American Classic track and the Super GT track together and everything works great. All cars work great, all controllers work perfect, and the track is easy to assemble. I bought the 2 tracks because it made sense since I wanted more track and more cars, I highly recommend this track for adults and kids for hrs of fun.

Great starter track
This is an excellent gateway into the 1:32 racing world. I wanted to get a slot race track to play with the grandkids (3 and 4, BTW - with supervision and the reduced controller settings great fun!) and debated whether to get an 'HO' scale track like I had many moons ago, or go with something new. I was a little worried about the size of a bigger scale. I gathered from research that the cars were amazing - miniature works of art - but with more parts to break off and the biggie: a *huge* track in order to get some really fun racing experiences. The deciding factor for me was the availability of stuff for 1:32 scale compared to 'HO' scale. It's hard to find the smaller scale tracks, with much less selection of what's available, and negligible cost difference between the two systems. While the fan base for 'HO' is dedicated and passionate, it seemed to me that the 1:32 scale fans were more numerous, and therefore 1:32 has better financial support and thus better chances for longevity. The larger track does take up a lot more room. I've seen amazing layouts that fill an entire room, and there's an annual race in the UK that recreates Le Mans which is held in a high school gym, taking up the entire perimeter, and lasts 24 hours. A 1:32 scale mile is 165 feet, if my math is correct, so even the epic UK race does not have a scale one mile straight. We race on the floor, and have a great deal of fun, so size ultimately dosen't matter (though my knees and back would like a table!! the kids, though, love having me on the floor with them!). I've added a couple track expansion packs and am really happy with the tracks I can set up. If you're thinking of taking the plunge into slot car racing, you should look into the scales and make the decision for yourself regarding scale - and manufacturer. I went with Scalextric mostly because they were the original slot car manufacturer way back in the early 60s. I also think that their digital system is probably superior to the competition for when I'm ready to upgrade. Without having looked too far into it, it seems that converting a Carrera car to the Scalextric digital system would be much easier than the other way around. Analog, the cars are interchangeable on the tracks. Track itself - connections, materials used, selection, etc - has pluses and minuses debated among fans, so that is another research topic though I didn't put much into it since I am casual and not looking to start a club or something. Scalextric track functions well, and is secure yet easy to disassemble. If you're buying this for a kid older than my grandkids who will be setting it up and playing with their friends you should deffinately look a bit closer into the track you want to invest in. I can't recommend this enough as a family hobby or something to get the kids away from the screen and doing something with their hands. Five stars only because there aren't six!!

Grandaughters had a blast with it.
On days we had to spend indoors our two granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed this. Had to borrow a couple of tables from our church, but worked out perfectly and installation was not an issue. Did NOT use the Bluetooth or the App aspect of it though.

Fun for all, even adults
Very exciting and fast. I added more straight track for more speed. I could still use more track to achieve speed capability.

Great App!
I was amazed that the Scalextric Arc One app runs on my Kindle Fire 7. No problems at all with the app. I had a lots of fun racing just one car learning how this worked. I lost track of time trying to improve lap times. Two hours passed before I knew it. Way too much fun! I will still give this five stars even though after a few high speed rollovers I managed to break the front pillars (on both sides of the windshield) on both cars. I will scratchbuild and paint new ones eventually. The cars still run great, just small pieces of plastic broken.
