This is exactly what I was looking for. I fasten litter containers to the side of my console where there is a handle. (They know how I drive?) problem is when I have a passenger the hard plastic litter containers are in the way. So I started taping lunch bags which was o.k. unless something was wet, or heavy. This is perfect as it can fold back out of the way. The hook just loops around the console handle and the bag is an easy reach for me. I use sanitary wipes alot so the waterproofing interior is great. Much roomier and nicer looking than a lunch bag too.

This garbage is adorable! It took 2 seconds to attach. It feels super secure. I like how it's not too obtrusive into the back seat, so nobody can complain that it takes to took much space, yet it feels big enough to contain trash and keep it off the floor. There is a snap to close, but not easy to open if it's snapped shut, so it will end up staying open. But, as it's so secure, I don't see this being a problem. The teal color is super cute, yet not so crazy that my male counterpart will complain about it. I might have to add another to the other side. Two thumbs up from this momma!!

This is very cool. It doesn't look at all like a garbage bag. It looks very durable and is the type of material that will wipe down easily. I like that you can close the top, so nothing falls out and there's no stink. I put a regular plastic bag inside in case of spills as an extra precaution, so if something is really gross I can just toss it. I wasn't really sure what to do with all the extra straps, but they tuck away easily.

Works great, looks nice. I wanted a bag hat I could use on my center console, instead of hanging from the back of the seat. This worked perfect. I simply put the stamp around the lid, and it sits perfectly! Now it's within easy reach for me and my messy kid! And no more wrappers all over my car.

I was pleasantly surprised with this little/big bag. It is about the size of my toddler's backpack, so it will hold quite a bit, it's lined with a plastic that reminds of the inside of the soft zipper lunch boxes I had as a kid (that thick gray-almost stretchy plastic). The outside is a cute leopard print polyester-like material(easy to wipe clean in case of an accidental spill on outside), and has 2 mesh pockets on each side to put a pack of tissues in, or a pump of hand sanitizer, or whatever you like (that's just what I use them for). I notice a lot of people are not happy about it having the snap closure, but that doesn't bother me because the flap stays closed either way. I personally don't snap it closed because there's really no need. I have a 4 year old who usually throws EVERYTHING on the floor (gum, suckers, fries, juice box, etc) and I just got a new car and told her she could no longer eat or drink anything in my car, and got this trash bag for little things. But last week we had a lot of running to do and we were in a rush and I broke down and let her eat in my car and told her everything had to go in the bag when she was done or it wouldn't happen again, and she loved seeing how much she could stuff in there. Since then I've let her have things like she used to and she's not once threw things on the floor, so the bag has served it's purpose. One of my favorite things about it is the stretchy strap on the bottom of the bag that allows you to anchor the bag to the bottom of your seat so it stays in place and tight against the back of the seat. My daughter had thrown her sucker in the bag and decided she wanted it back a few minutes later and tried pulling it to her because her carseat restricted her from leaning forward and sticking her hands in there, and because I had the bottom strap also anchored under the seat, the bag wasn't pulling to her and she wasn't able to dig in the garbage to get her sucker back out (Thank God because she has a weak immune system and knows better, and I was driving and telling her "No, stop, quit" but couldn't do anything at the time, and was sooo relieved when I seen she had to give up because the bag was tough and she couldn't rip it off the seat. So for that alone (because she's a brute, I literally call her "Brutus" because she just turned 4 a month ago and is almost 4' tall and weighs 50 pounds and is tough as nails- you can't tell by looking at her that she was such a sick baby-so I was very surprised she didn't rip it off) I'm giving it 5 stars.

I am a serial gum chewer, crappy habit I know, but I enjoy it. What I dont enjoy is finding gum wrappers and napkins I've spit my gum into under my car seat and in the back of my car, no matter how diligent I try to be about putting them in one spot to throw away when I get outta the car. I always said I needed a trashcan in my car but I honestly didn't even know it was a thing until I looked it up on Amazon. This thing is a life saver. I kept it in the front because my arms aren't long enough to reach the back of the passenger seat. I like that even if I have someone in the passenger seat and they need to adjust their seat forward or backward, it doesn't get in the way. I wish I wasn't so excited about a trash can for my car, but I guess that's adulting right?

I drive a Mazda 5 and there is nowhere to put a trash container. My kids got used to throwing stuff on the ground to the point where I needed a bulldozer to clean all the trash on the floor (obviously I'm not one of those "clean the car every day/week/year/decade" people). I got one of these hanging trash bags for the passenger seat and hung it up. First my kids were absolutely baffled by the whole concept. "You mean instead of throwing things on the floor we should actually put it someplace???" Yes my darlings, most people do not need a snow shovel to carve out some foot space on the floor. Then my daughter got jealous because it was hanging on my son's side right and obviously that's not fair, and also she complained that her brother was "breathing her air." You know what honey? I can absolutely get a second trash bag if it means you're going to throw your sh** away too! Then one day my son was chewing gum and decided to just throw it right into the trash bag because obviously just throwing away chewed up gum not wrapped in anything is a sensible and logical thing to do. So I sprayed some Goo Gone onto the gum and it came right off the waterproof lining! Extra points for that! I also love the bottom strap which is elastic and hooks onto whatever bottom part of the seat is available. That keeps it nice and flat against the seat back instead of swinging around. Plus the closure is handy. If only someone could invent an opaque, soundproof barrier to set between the children's seats so they can't see, hear, or hit each other, my life would be complete.

I am addicted to iced coffees and had straw wrappers everywhere in my car. I recently purchased a new car and swore I wouldn’t throw them everywhere. I tried the collapsible small garbage container, I tried the hard container that doesn’t fall over, I tried one that hangs off the shifter. They all failed, and were also in the way of passenger’s feet. This works great, I have it hanging on the back of the passenger seat. It is also a real nice color and much bigger than I had expected. Finally! Something that works, isn’t expensive, and there’s no garbage that can be seen in my new car!

I bought this after Jordan Page recommended it and it's NEXT LEVEL. I actually bought several versions of these when I bought this and I had no idea this one would be so much better! Not only did it come with little trash bags (which was a nice little addition) but it was the sturdiest version of these I could find! The opening is actually held open by what seems to be a metal frame (which is great) and not only does it hang off the back of your seat but it also comes with a little elastic hook that allows it to fully "grab" onto your chair (so it doesn't move around while driving). I mean the quality of this thing is FAR superior to all the other versions I bought and every feature is expertly designed! The only thing I'm upset about is I didn't know about this thing sooner! It literally changed how we store garbage in our car!!!!

I bought this to replace an old one that had broken. I really missed my trash bag in my car and did lots of looking before I bought one. First was price as always for me but then reviews is second and it had good reviews. I absolutely love it! I've only had it a week but I don't see any issues with it and don't think there will be any that can't be solved. It is a nice size but not too big (my car is a small Nissan Sentra) ..it's pretty - I got the turquoise and white one and even with it unsnapped so I can easily put trash in (because it is in the back seat) it still leaves plenty of room for the person sitting in that seat. I would definitely recommend it.
