One of the best things I've ever bought on Amazon

Seriously one of the best things I've ever bought on Amazon. You could quibble about details like the quality of the bungee cords, or whether it should have included a tire patch kit, but at the end of the day, it's by far the best and most complete roadside emergency kit you can get for anywhere near this price point. Even the *bag* is nice - grippy rubberized handles, nice practical logo, just the right size to slide under a seat. Besides the essentials like jumper cables and first aid supplies, this kit has an unusual number of extras that are useful to keep in your car even in non-emergency situations. I've already used the bungee cords to move a difficult piece of furniture - what would have been an "I guess we're out of luck" situation became a "just a second, let me grab something from the trunk" situation. Same goes for the high-grip rubber gloves, multi-tool, etc. - there are so many situations where they can come in handy. Overall, very impressed, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend this kit to anyone. Tip: Take the window breaker out and put it somewhere you can easily reach, like a glove box or center console. It won't do much good stuck somewhere under a seat.

Small Package, Big Things!

We purchased this for our use in a car which is shared by our 2 college-aged daughters. The kit was remarkably small and yet packed with everything they would need for a roadside emergency. And as far as we can tell everything is of good quality too. As we unpacked it, it was a little surprising they were able to get so much gear in such a small place. The only small addition may be a small ice scraper…for that time when ice arrives unexpectedly and the full sized scraper is still in the garage! But that's just a random thought. Great product. Feels a lot better to have peace of mind with the girls driving with a little extra help in the trunk.

An well thought out kit with overwhelming value for the cost.

The Roadside Emergency Kit is exactly what I was looking for. I have a 21 year old son who recently bought a used vehicle with his hard earned money providing mobility to him and his wife and daughter. Meanwhile, my 17 year old son is about to get his license and start driving on his own in a hand me down vehicle he inherited and my 13 year old son is chomping at the bit to start driving too. I wanted to ensure their safety and preparedness so I started putting a kit together that would mirror the emergency items that I have in my car. Soon into the process, I realized that it was not going to be cost effective to do so and I discovered the many kits out there. I started compiling a list of 2-5 kits that would fulfill the need and found it to be much more feasible than item by item but I found quite a bit of duplication and usually in items that would be infrequently utilized. Not wanting to be wasteful I held off on the multiple kit option. Then low and behold I stumbled across the Sarah's Source Roadside Emergency Kit. I was tentative at first because based on the list of items included, the price was a third to maybe half what I expected. That could only mean that the quality was lacking. I decided that the price was low enough that, even if crap, I could afford the risk and regardless, would have sufficient use to offset it. So I ordered it! It arrived very expeditiously and I couldn't wat to open it up and see just how sub par it was and how big of a waste my money was. Upon inspection I was truly amazed. Not only was the quality great, all of the the items came in tge perfect quantities and sizes for a kit of it's kind. They really did a great job and must have put a lot of thought into putting such a high quality, all inclusive, and reasonably priced kit together. I gave the first one ordered to my oldest and in the next month or so will be purchasing an additional 4-5 kits for my wife, sons, and even my in-laws. This was a great find!

I'm very happy with the purchase

I purchased this for the day that I might just need it... Gratefully, I have not used it yet. It's the mid-range kit, not the cheapest nor the most expensive. The price-point along with the stuff included were the two main factors leading me to purchase. It should be noted that the cables are heavy duty and it does come with hazard road signs. I coupled this package with LED road flares. I'm very happy with the purchase!

Good quality and isn't missing anything.

As someone who just purchased a car and is not very experienced with them, I'm very happy I bought this. It's is of great quality (the bag is not cheap or flimsy) and has everything that is listed in the description. I feel very safe having everything in one bag, ready to (hopefully never) be used! I think this would be a great gift for someone!

Purchased this a gift for a brand new driver. Thought it would be a great thing to have handy (teenagers never think they will need this stuff). Loved how well packed and compact everything was in the handy carry bag. It zips closed and keeps everything together and fits nicely int he trunk for those unexpected emergencies.

total vehicle preparedness in a bag!

this a great price for a great set of vehicle emergency/assistance items! so she would be "always prepared" ;-), we purchased this for our freshly licensed and vehicle equipped, 16 year old niece and we all feel much better with her driving with this kit on hand! a state of preparedness is a great state to always strive for... and, this kit does the job with all the necessities for vehicle emergency preparedness... all items were included, as described on the item detail page, and they are all of a very good or good to acceptable quality... though the storage bag is not highly robust, it is certainly robust enough to secure all the items in one place for when they may be needed and for moving the kit about when necessary (it is not a bag that will be used often, so it's quality/robustness is more than is necessary and is quite acceptable)... overall, great kit, especially for the price, and we are very pleased... Amazing, high quality, excellent price, emergency kit.

Truly pleased with this purchase. We bought two of these bags, for our vehicles and we love them. They are sturdy, well made bags, they are filled with anything you could need for an emergency bag. The price can't be beaten for all the stuff you received.
