I have owned a Moby wrap and now a Sleepy wrap and I prefer the Sleepy wrap because of the stretchy knit fabric! It's so much more comfortable for me and likely for baby too! Only downside is because its stretchy after wearing for an hour or two I feel like the whole thing needs tightened again. This may not be a problem with smaller babies but it is for my 22 lb 6 month old! overall a great wrap though and I would recommend all moms have one! Such a lifesaver when getting groceries, making dinner, etc.

I was skeptical about using a wrap. I have the regular carrier, and I don't feel that my 10week old could get comfortable. I needed something that makes grocery shopping and being mobile with a baby and 3 year old easier. This was perfect. My Little One slept the first I used it. I of course practiced the whole wrapping part a few times. The first time I placed my baby in it, I didn't wrap it tight enough. Second time I had the hang of it. After a few uses, it's easy to use. I used it yesterday so I could fix dinner and cookies. He slept the whole time. So this for my Baby and a Monkey backpack with attached leash, definitely makes going place alone, easier! The fabric is perfect. Living in the deep South can feel like walking the edge of hell's gates, so I was happy that this doesn't over heat us.

I am a second-time mom of a two-week-old. With my two year old son, I had a Baby K'tan wrap which I really loved and used all the time while he was small and then I switched to the Ergo Baby Carrier when he got heavier....around 6 months. I picked the baby gets hand as opposed to the Moby Wrap (and other long wraps) because it involved so much fabric and was way more difficult to get baby in and out of. But I am always wanting to try out new babywearing products so I decided to try this wrap because it looks similar to the Moby but way less expensive and not as much fabric. I just got it in the mail today and followed the instruction sheet that was included and popped my baby in with no trouble. He's been in the wrap for about 30 seconds and is already asleep. It is super comfortable and the fabric is very luxurious feeling. It is very stretchy and soft and not nearly as long of a wrap as the Moby. It also evenly distributes weight better than the Baby K'tan and so my back definitely is not strained as much. I'm really loving the purchase and do you not regret it at all! I will definitely be using this a Time!

My sweet baby girl was colicky for weeks and weeks. The sleepy wrap was the only way she would stop crying and sleep during the day. She’s 3 months now and we are working on taking non-movement naps in her crib, but I work from home and sometimes she just needs movement to sleep and I need to get some work done. I stand with her in the carrier and work on my laptop at the bar top of our kitchen counter. I love holding her close in it all the time. She doesn’t like her car seat carrier, so carrying her into restaurants in it has not been an option for us. Instead I put on the sleepywrap before leaving the house (instead of fumbling with it in the parking lot), slip baby into it, then wear her during lunch. She just sleeps! It’s such a relief. I got this wrap at first as a “hands-free nursing” option... it wasn’t great for that. My carrier with buckles worked better for that for me. The buckles allow more space for baby to move/breathe. The sleepywrap is really designed to be snug and offer comforting compression rather than room for nursing... in my experience. But maybe I didn’t do it right. Note: I hated this wrap at first. It takes practice getting the wrap tension the way you and baby like it. And it’s hard to practice when your newborn is crying (wailing). But I’m so glad I kept practicing. It has been such a life/sanity saver.

Works great for my 2 mo old!

All I can say is I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this wrap!!!!! I am in love with the fabric! Easy to put on. Stretches so it fits my larger frame (lady shown with it is skinnier than me) I have larger bust and hips and still fits great! Baby boy loves to sleep in there for hours. I have Freedom to do things with my hands! I can now type on computer or so things around the house. I find Out of habit and security I keep my hand on his bottom. I love that we can stay skin to skin, it’s warm and comforting for the baby. I wish I could rate this 10 stars!

Have been using this for two months with my baby and have loved it. It’s his favorite place to be and will nap for HOURS in it. Easy to learn how to wrap using the instructions and YouTube videos. Thick French terry is perfect for winter, but I can see it getting hot in Summer. Now that he is bigger (15 lbs!) I’m dealing with him slipping lower as we are wearing it. Will be buying as a shower gift for other new moms for that snuggly newborn period.

Get this and you won't need a baby swing or anything...just put them in and they'll be out after a few chores (obviously, unless they're really fussy...nothing can fix those days and you just gotta wait for them to be done sometimes.) The first time I tried this on, I just did it along with a youtube video and after that it was easy (I had a friend who said you need a degree to figure out how to put one on but I think she's just never done it herself and it looks complicated... but it's not as hard as it may look.) I really like the idea of baby wearing because it lets you have much more freedom, carrying them around but still having your hands available to do stuff with (like eat or brush your teeth or get food ready). Also, baby is generally happier which is nice for them AND you because you don't have to get stressed out listening to them cry. The only bad thing is that if it's very hot, you can't really use it without making your baby sweaty/uncomfortable, but that's true of any carrier.

Once we figured out how to use it, it has been so great carrying baby girl in. What I love about this wrap is that I can literally be hands free. Some wraps I’ve had in the past I have had to keep at least one hand on at all times, this one is more supportive. My husband held our month old baby in the wrap for a couple hours straight and it did sag quite a bit but you know, gravity. I’m not expecting it not to sag after a couple of hours. He could play video games while holding her just fine, you just have to practice putting it on to be hands free and to keep baby in there for a while. Another thing I love is the material. Oh my goodness. So soft. I like how stretchy yet sturdy it is because it provides the right kind of support, much like being in the womb. How to put the wrap on... 1) Stretch sleepy baby wrap across your belly and make sure the sleepy baby logo tag is in the middle of your front. 2) Keeping the fabric tight on your belly, bring both ends up under your pits and criss-cross the fabric across your back to make an “X” with it. Bring the pieces over your shoulders to the front. 3) Bunch, tuck, and pull the pieces through that front fabric that has been snug to your belly. 4) Cross the fabric that you just pulled through in the front and tie them in the back, making sure everything is snug. 5) Flatten and straighten out the fabric that you pulled over your shoulders so you look like a Jedi. 6) Place baby UNDER one of the flattened shoulder pieces, whichever side you crossed on top, and pull up that belly band part up over your snuggle bug so that everything feels supportive and secure. 7) Viola, you did it! Or maybe you didn’t... 😉 It takes a couple times.
