Nice and sturdy. Only a couple were cracked. Perfect to hot glue onto some cardstock for a fan.

Not splintery at all

Some reviewers stated that they got splinters from the sticks. We did not find that to be the case at all. They were smooth, flat and easy to work with.

Great for 2nd Grade Class Snowflake Craft

I wanted to find a fun, quick, easy craft for my 2nd grader's birthday celebration in her school classroom. Since she is a winter baby, I wanted to do something seasonal. I ordered these sticks. They are nice and big so there is enough "canvas" for the kids to customize. I pre hot glued them together (three sticks to make snowflake shape) and then brought in various things to decorate with (glue on gems, pompoms, markers, glitter, other various stickers). Kids loved it. I brought in an option of twine to make them an ornament or a glue on magnet so it could be a decoration on their refrigerators (most chose magnet). They all looked very different depending on the child's creativity and all got to make their own party favor. The sticks were sturdy and could handle all the kids handling them. Teacher was pleased with them too.
