Works well as a bore solvent

I have been using Lucas Extreme Duty Gun Oil in one of my AR’s for a few months and felt it worked super well. So I decided to give the bore solvent a try, and I have been very happy with this product as well. It has a pleasant smell, and is safe for any part of the slide or frame....However, it’s strong enough to help loosen carbon and crud from my barrel and gun. I typically swab some of this through the barrel, let it sit while I clean some other parts of the gun. Then I take a couple passes with a bore snake, before finishing with Lucas CLP down the barrel. To lube the rest of the weapon I use their extreme duty oil and grease. Great product.

This is my new favorite. I have used Hoppes #9 for years. (Its what my grandpa used) This stuff is amazing. It doesn't leave a residue on my firearms and has no over whelming odor. In fact it smells like grape Kool Aide. (According to my wife)

Excellent bore cleaner

This product help remove more debris from my barrel more then the outers brand. Also Lucas bore solvent smells like grape Gatorade

Best gun parts cleaner ever!

This stuff is great! I use it in my ultrasonic cleaner, mostly for gun part cleaning. I used to use a common degreaser and it worked ok, but this product cleans beautifully and there is no hot water bath for the gun parts afterwards, as it leaves a protective light oil coating. Perfect. That's my Status has been wonderful to deal with and can count on my future business!

Great Solvent

Great solvent. Strips everything (Dirt, carbon, oils, grease, powder, etc...)

Must haves for cleaning kit

Smells great not sure exactly how strong it is I am worried that it may eat the paint off my weapon but it does the job concerning of cleaning I made a commitment to only use and Lucas Oil Products on my weapon

Best CLP I’ve used so far. Nothing less will touch my firearms!
