Love, love, love this iron. It heats up quickly. The water container is easy to fill. The cord is nice and long and the iron glides over the clothes to evenly press out the worst of wrinkles.

Nice Iron box, real strong, easy to operate, gives a good iron, with different modes.

I got this to replace my cheap lightweight 6 year old iron. While the previous iron still worked, I needed something better that would do a good job in lesser time. This iron is heavy enough to do a good job, holds enough water and releases a good amount of steam. I like the self cleaning mechanism. Steel plates seem to be better and longer lasting than the non tick soleplate I had in my previous iron. For the price, its definitely a good buy.

Exactly what I wanted for an upgraded iron. Easy to handle and works great.

I needed a pretty basic iron and this one works great. It has a sprayer and it steams well. The cord has trouble fully retracting at times but it goes in with a little push.

Very nice iron at a bargain price. I have purchased 2 other steam irons in the past 7 or 8 years. Both were a "premium" brand made in Germany. I wanted a really good iron, since I had never really had a decent iron in my adult life. I do a lot of ironing, compared to most people, because I love freshly ironed cotton blouses with blue jeans as my standard outfit. Both of my expensive irons did a good, but not great, job. The main problem was steam ironing. The was always sputtering, spitting and leaking from time to time. Each iron lasted 3 or 4 years, and then I got frustrated with the mess and bought a new iron. I always did my homework ; plenty of research etc. I really thought that if i got a premium brand that cost a lot, I would get a superior iron. Not so! So this time I went strictly by the reviews on Amazon, and the best price. So far, the Black & Decker is doing very well. I have not had it long enough to evaluate how the iron will hold up, but so far, I am very happy with the iron, and I paid about 1/3rd of what I paid for my other two irons. It does a good job with steam. So far, no spitting, leaking or spotting my clothing. I suggest you give Black & Decker a try.

The finish on the ironing surface is very high quality -- I've had cheap ones before where the finish came off on your clothes after a while. The reel (I will never buy an iron without one) works well, the reservoir is easy to fill and doesn't leak so far, and the steam is very good.

great iron. Beautiful with various settings. Love it.

This iron is LIGHT WEIGHT and feels good in my hand. My first impression....so far a great steam iron. Time will tell how long the iron lasts. I need a full featured lightweight steam iron after shoulder surgery. Several travel irons I have purchased and used turned out to be junk.

love it , love that cord , hope it last.
