Great little unit

I remodeled my inlaw unit with a small kitchen, limited space. I sunk it in to the granite counter top and wired it in to a designated circuit. It fired right up and gets red hot on high setting with in seconds. The burners have discolored a bit but I guess that’s just from use, it cleans up well. It has a lock touch tab on it so a child can’t turn it on by accident. I was very happy to find this unit.

Beautiful, works great, fantastic service

This is a beautiful, sleek cooktop that we installed in a second kitchen. The top is solid with no places for dirt to collect. The touch controls work flawlessly giving precise control of heat. Has a timer function and also a locking function to prevent accidental operation. I had a small problem with the unit and the people at Kitchen and Home were extremely responsive in resolving it. I wired it up to a 30 amp 240 volt dedicated circuit and set it into a cutout in the counter. It also has rubber feet so you could just set it on the counter top. In that case you would probably want to install a plug and socket.

Really happy with the build and design.

Just had an electrician hook it up. He recognized the wiring, bought a connector and wall receptacle, and a 20 amp breaker. Took him about 1/2 hour. I was going to have a hole cut in the counter, but the counter top was a rock based (a couple of hours of work to cut through and a hell of a mess), so I just had it placed on top on it's rubber feet. Tested it with no pans. It heated up quickly and I like that it has not knobs, just a flat surface allowing easy pan/pot movement and removal. Really happy with the build and design. Will update after a couple months of use.

ABSOLUTELY GREAT. I HAD A SECOND KITCHEN PUT IN AND THE CONTRACTOR DID NOT SEE THAT THIS IS 220 AND HE WIRED EVERYTHING FOR 110 SO I HAD TO BUY ANOTHER UNIT. THIS ONE IS JUST SOOOO MUCH BETTER, TO THE POINT THAT I'M THINKING ABOUT HAVING JUST THE STOVE OUTLET REWIRED FOR 220. YES, THAT'S HOW GOOD THIS IS.

Good morning. Sorry to hear your electrician couldn't figure ...

Received this item and manual has no schematic for the proper way to hook up this unit. Had an electrician look at it last night who has 40 years experience and was not sure how to hook up due to the touch sensitive control top. Emailed the seller and received this response: Good morning. Sorry to hear your electrician couldn't figure it out. This is 220V cooktop and you have to feed 2(110V each) hot wires to it. Black is 110V White is 110V Green is ground. Best regards, K&H team Had this wired up in a few minutes and it works perfect.

Excellent high end cooktop

I rarely leave reviews but have to for this product and the induction one too. I purchased both cooktops from D&H. While at first I was suspicious due to low price, I am stunned with the look and quality and the customer support (we had a small issue with this cooktop not knowing how to properly connect it - whoever is leaving poor reviews that it doesn't heat up fast doesn't know how to connect it properly - contact the seller and he'll provide easy excellent detailed instructions). My family lives in Europe and has Bosch for all appliances. This absolutely matches the look and feel and quality. I'm a super happy customer and love both of my cooktops. After doing three months of research for a high end kitchen remodel - this hands down is the top winner. Buy it, don't think twice about it.

Tiny house cooking flat surface elemebt

Wanted tiny area cooking element, not waste counter surface and no button to stick up and catch on things.his fills all needs. Can use flat surface for food prep, and my tiny kitchen still has two heated cook areas.
