The instruction manuals make it worth it
I was skeptical of this product because of the high price. How much better than legos could it really be? But it is a great product and worth the price. They include multiple detailed instruction manuals for each build. The kids love this, and we have poured over the included manuals and have learned a lot. I highly recommend.

Fun and educational
My 8 year grandson was thrilled with this gift. He had some adult help but was so excited with how many different items could be built from the set. Great educational gift!

Excellent for science class
We are using this as our curriculum for a science class. He reads the book, we discuss it, and then he builds. His favorite part are the builds. What I like most is that they have activities that go with the builds -- if you take this part off what happens -- my son is loving this class We write our answers to the activities in a notebook so that we can keep the kit for our younger son
