Works Perfectly

I have a older tv with only one HDMI port. I also have an Apple TV, a Nintendo Switch, and a Blu-Ray player that I want to use on this tv- without the need to constantly plug and unplug them. This HDMI switch allowed me to plug all of these devices in at once, and it automatically switches to the proper input. Several comments, as well as the official video, have indicated that devices using sleep mode might interfere with the auto-switching function. I am pleased to say that both my Nintendo Switch and Apple TV are such devices, and they still work perfectly with this switch. I simply put one to sleep and turn the other on, and this switch detects the active device. It is also worth noting that my TV still turns on and off when sleeping/waking the Apple TV. I'm not sure how this feature works (whether the Apple TV remote is interacting directly with the TV or if the Apple TV is sending a signal via HDMI to turn the TV on/off), but regardless, it works.

This thing worked flawlessly. I have an older flat screen TV so it only came with 2 plugs. One plug went out. So to switch from cable box to PS4 I had to manually switch the devices at the back of the TV. That got old after 2 years. So I bought this not expecting it to work flawlessly and to automatically detect a device and switch to it when I turn on the PS4 or cable box. But it does just that.

Works great, but still needs a human to decide what source you want to view.

Does what it says. Some people complain it does not switch automatically. It won't if there are more than source active. Another words, iif two inputs are live, and there is a signal on both, you have to push the button to switch. It an't psychic, you gotta tell it which one you want. If you turned off one of them, it would switch to the live source.

A life saver.

My tv has only 1 hdmi slot which caused me to always go in back to unplug one electronic item to use another, now I dont have to anymore. I LOVE IT.

I love this! It makes it easy to switch to different hdmi devices without having to unplug one then plug in the other. With this it's all always plugged in and all you need to do is touch the button to select device.

Found What I Need

This definitely solve my need for multiple HDMI outlets into one television. A great to have accessory to connect all my game consoles, DVD / Blu ray players, etc.

Great HDMI switch, though it disables device's TV State syncronization features

I really love this HDMI switch! When once I couldn't plug in all my consoles to the TV on HDMI, now I can. The best part of it is that it automatically detects which console is currently active, but if you happen to have two on at the same time, you can use the button on it to switch between which you want to use, but I would not recommend doing that too often. Though this piece of tech is really good, sometimes it has trouble detecting which device you want to have showing, and it will sometimes turn back to the prior device. Also, for some reason, it stops the function of some devices (Like the PS3/4) to turn your TV on when said device is on. Aside from those little grievances, the picture quality, sounds and image flow is perfect, and so far I have not seen any signs of trouble with these.

First I'd like to send out a special shot out to the customer support for this product. Awesome little device. Thing I found out about most of these switches is that you must make sure your devices support different versions of HDCP and older devices. Thanks to support for helping me with this. Thing to remember is HDCP 2.2 isn't backwards compatible so keep that in mind. Okay now onto the Switch. Very easy to install, the pigtail allows you to move it anywhere and make it easy accessible. I got it because my TV only has 2 HDMI slots. Right now I am sharing my FireTV Cube, and my old PS3. Both work flawless...... Being the PS3 is an old console I was having trouble getting sound. But thanks to support for helping me and its no working. I highly recommend this product.......

Excellent product.

Connected to my DVD player and Roku. Always on for the Roku and switches automatically to the DVD player when the DVD player is turned on. When DVD player is turned off, automatically switches back to Roku. Excellent product.
