I purchased style L-3. The photos of this product show some interior office windows with a broad strip of film on them. I feel that the photo is a little misleading as the product appears to be a white sheet of paper from the outside, and much more opaque than the office photo is. The reason for this purchase was to make it difficult for my two dogs to see out the bay window (they would stand on the back of the couch / in the window and bark at passers-by). I just needed something tall enough to obstruct their clear view but still allow sunlight in for the plants. This does accomplish that nicely. The height is about 2/3 of my window which makes it possible for me to see out to the street if need be. Overall the product is good quality and the install went well. Liberal water spray is definitely key. Shifting a 33x33" sheet is very difficult but that isn't a flaw on the product. We've had several days of 95 degree weather with 65 degree nights and there is no peeling or bubbling. I'm happy with the purchase I just wish it was a little more transparent. Update 12/14/2017: There isn't any peeling in the corners with the weather being below freezing. I had some concern that the dryness of the house would cause the film to separate from the window but there is no evidence of that. The dogs have stopped trying to see above it since they really have to stretch. Overall this has done a great job, plants are growing well with light that passes through, and it seems to be standing up to the test of time. Increased from 4 stars to 5.

I've used window film before in different applications but I wanted to completely diffuse the light coming from my back french doors that look onto a busy street. This film is THICK but not in a bad way. It has a slight texture to it and it stands up well to being manhandled while installing. The thickness of the material makes it easy to get all the air bubbles out without worrying about ripping the film. I would say that the amount of light that gets through the windows now is close to 85-95% (completely subjective on my part). I'm really happy that I can now have full daytime light in the room without having to worry about making eye contact with a person walking on the street behind my apartment.

Great solution to my problem

This window used to look out on a neighbor's junky driveway, directly into their ever-open garage which was filled with clutter. Like I wanna see that when I'm working at the sink! Eventually I put a white trash bag up in the window until I could come up with a better solution. Then I bought this film and got a handyman to apply it. It looks FABULOUS. The light is beautiful and makes the room feel clean and bright. Great solution to my problem!

For our use the film is perfect. Placed on lower windows only for privacy in our home. One cannot see through yet light will still penetrate. Follow directions exactly and there will be no problems. Take your time. Does not look cheap. Great price and quality.

Easy and inexpensive solution that looks great

Super easy to install and looks great. My 2 great Pyrenees dogs finally broke through our front window. Every sound or passerby had them lunging at the glass from our window seat. We had to do something to protect them. This was an inexpensive solution that looks great and so far is working to keep them calm.

Not too difficult to install; good privacy

I am impressed with this product. I have side windows that face my neighbors windows - so I was looking for a way to add some privacy without blocking light. Neighbors can't see in/I can't see out! They were also way easier to install than some other brands I've used. I wiped window with a wet sponge to get it wet, smoothed the film over window, got bubbles out w a credit card, then used a box cutter along the edges to cut off the excess film. Took me about 20 minutes for a pretty large window and another 20 for 4 smaller windows.

Exactly what I wanted

Love this, it’s exactly what I needed. My is on the ground floor and has a big window that looks out towards the sidewalk. I wanted to have sunlight coming in but also wanted some privacy. The window film does exactly that. It was easy to install (I wiped down the glass with some wet wipes, then sprayed a generous coating of water to adhere the film). I was done in less than 30 minutes. The film is easy to remove; it’s basically a giant window decal. You can peel it right off if you don’t want it or need to adjust the positioning
