Good for the price
The set up was easy. For the price of this item the quality is pretty good. Would definitely recommend this if you don’t want to go out and spend too much.

Productive set
The best condenser microphone out there! Ensures clear recordings that are faithful to the original source as well as free from unwanted coloration of the sounds and distortion in the background. Budget friendly but don't let that and the vintage look stray you away from thinking this microphone isn't quality made. The phantom power supply really ties it all together by being able to plug the xlr cable line into the phantom and into my computer and reliably powers them all together. The metal shock mount holds the microphone protectively and securely onto the the scissor arm. The stand suspends and folds away neatly when I'm not using it. The pop filter fits over the front of the microphone and onto the scissor arm. The clamp mounts it all together, I can put it on my table, desk, night stand, shelves, you name it. Professional and productive set.

The BEST Bang for your Buck!
I was using a Lapel Mic from Neewer before but unfortunately it died, so I decided to treat myself with something better and I got this. I've been using it for half a month and so far I can say the NW-700 is one of the best cheap microphones in the market right now, I'll list some pros and cons | V Pros: - its extremely cheap and not $h1t - great background noise isolation - its not cheaply made (solid metal boom arm and the shock mount is great) - truly amazing sound! - its XLR so you can use it with an audio interface to get much clearer audio (but I've been using it without it and it sounds amazing - includes a mic foam cap and a pop filter Cons: - its not that loud but with a +20db on your audio setting it sounds amazing - the boom arm is short but that hasn't been an inconvenience And nothing else... This is one truly amazing product for a more than affordable price, so don't waste your money on those $10 mics, save up a little more and you could be the next proud owner of a Neewer NW-700 | 100% recommended - Honest Review by Luis Solis ~~ Have a great day!

Does not sound bad at all for the price.
I bought this at at throw away price thinking it probably wont sound much better than my previous headset mic. I read allot on the internet before i purchased it and decided to give it a shot. I also ordered a BEHRINGER U-PHORIA UMC22 to use for the Phantom power and to have a gain and direct monitor. So i have not tried the Phantom power that came with it. This thing sounds great for the price. If you are on a budget or you just don't want to spend 200 plus for a mic when all you do is game or a little streaming this is the mic. I will tell you the arm is great if you put it where you want it and do not mess with it allot. For me i had to upgrade the arm to the Rhode arm because i move the mic when i am not using it.

What can you expect?
Great budget mic, but if I could go back I’d skip on the whole packaged deal and buy the microphone and an audio interface. This microphone is raspy and doesn’t really function as great as I thought. However I had to check myself because I forgot I spent only 50$ on this thing and it made me appreciate it more. Which is why I gave it 5 stars, you really can’t go wrong with this deal.

I'd say not bad for a first time piece to learn on and get some expirience
I'm not an expert on microphones or all this audio support "stuff" but from a new person standpoint here are my thoughts on this product which I bought not just once, but twice. Pros: Pretty easy to set up as both orders came with instructions. Sounds better than my old desktop style microphone. If you hook it up "the right way" with a sound card and so on you get better sound and control. But even without it's not bad by my count. Cheap, a whole set up for just what some other low end microphones cost. Sounds "not offensive" I don't know what I'm doing yet with it, but even I can tell it's not going to sound like a professional quality anything even if I did know exactly what I was doing. With a usb audio jack this mic set up is able to run 2 full set ups easy without any crazy feedback or echo or other nasty effects with both of these no more than 6 feet apart. Cons: I ordered 2, and got 2 slightly different mics. Both say the say thing printed on them and sound similar but have minor differences. 2 different boxes, one came in what looked like a "product box" info and graphics as most would recognize. However, the other (one I actually like a little better) came in just a hastily thrown together brown box. 2 different foam toppers (I'm sure there is a better name for these) the one in the brown box was way more uniform and didn't 'look' like a Chinese factory reject like the one in the standard designed box. The anchor vise piece isn't exactly strong, but after some fairly rough working I've come to the conclusion that either you'd need to have experience with way better products already, or you would need to treat this equipment quite poorly to just snap the thing. It's not going to act like a high end piece of audio equipment, but if the budget is tight, this is actually pretty nice.

The sound quality is excellent. The setup is relatively easy
This microphone bundle was more than worth the price. The sound quality is excellent. The setup is relatively easy. I use it with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 which already has phantom power built in. Put the gain at about halfway and it was good to go. Very pleased with it and will most likely be buying another one soon to add to my home recording studio.

Effective, versatile, good price, perfect! UPDATED..
I bought this for my son as a gift. He likes to make electronic music, recording himself playing piano and guitar, and please video games and video blogs online. He's very happy with this purchase and it was within my budget and was compatible with the Windows 10 that's on his laptop. UPDATE: 6 months later and it still looks and works like new. After daily use hours every day it's great! You wont go wrong with this! UPDATE: 7 months later its had over 400 hours on it (by a 16 year old gamer) and it still sounds like new. Working without issue.

Nothing but WOW!
This thing is nothing but amazing! Comes with everything like the phantom power, stand, all the XLR connections necessary to hook it up to your pc. It seriously sounds amazing. Sound is crisp and has little to no base noise. Better to hook up to the back of your mother board, but I strongly suggest that you get the Sabrent usb sound card! This paired with the sound card sounds absolutely amazing and professional! Strongly recommend! Can’t believe that the whole set (including sound card) is just under $50! I have no issues as of 1 week of using.
