This brand is the best quality you can currently buy at this price point. However if you want something with a bit higher crash tested rating then you're going to spend easily a hundred dollars extra over this one. I've read many reviews and looked at the best protection collars on the market. This brand and style always on the list. I got this for some dual sport and adventure riding. Fits great and comes with straps to go around your shoulders and chest so it stays in place so it won't move around when riding or move. If you're interested in neck protection but on a little budget and may not do some heavy enduro riding but more of some weekend street rides or weekend adventure that may take you on a few off roads then this is what you should buy. Don't buy anything below this model or style as this is the minimum at the entry of high quality protection.

Very important addition for any racer, especially young ones!

My grandson rides motor cross and scares me to death as he is such a dare devil; he was in one serious accident and got a concussion, but the collar protected him from worse injury his dr said; he says it's comfortable and willingly wears it; so I'm very happy with it

Great product for a great price

My son isn’t allowed to race without a neck brace. He took a hard crash a few months ago and walked away from it only because of this collar. I would recommend it. It has the body straps that come with it to keep it from sliding the wrong way on his neck.

Fits large necks to

I bought for a friend that’s over 6’ tall and 300 ish pounds large neck seemed to fit and let’s air in if your in a hot vehicle like his mud truck

Nice collar for karting

Fits nicely, works great for Karting. After reading other reviews i see how it could cause a possible threat to your neck and spine if thrown from a vehicle. But if you are strapped into a kart i dont see any hazard. Good quality and great value.

Great item

A must if riding. Fits my 13yr old nicely. Stays in place and protects like its suppose too.

Love it. It seems to be as much protection as some other options without the possibility of adverse effects in certain scenarios. I notice no issues with comfort or range of motion

Neck support

I bought this collar because I am having neck problems, it helped tremendously keeping the jars in the road from impacting my neck. I highly recommend it. Yet the latch does feel flimsy we'll see how it holds up. It would be nice if it had one more adjustment or came in an extra large.

Happy so far

My 14 year old son has been using the device and he seems to be doing well with it. He has not complained of it bothering him while riding. For the money we are happy with the device.
