Only used once so far
I hate having strappy tops and bras get tangled in the wash, or bound up on the agitator, and have struggled with "lingerie bags" that snag on hooks and zippers and still tangle. So, I have been using zipper pillowcases. Now those are getting hard to find that are not dust and bed bug proof. The fabric weave is so tight on these modern pillow covers that I am afraid the soap and dirt won't wash through. So I tried these mesh bags from SimpleHousewares. I got the 3 large and 3 medium pack. I have only used them once so far, but this is my impression: 1. I am so far pleased with the type of mesh. It is very fine, so it is less likely that hooks will tangle in the mesh, but still is open enough to rise soap and dirt through easily. Right out of the bag it feels a little more substantial so I hope it will hold up to bra hooks and resist twisting up with other bags. 2. The zippers are plastic, and if you close them all the way they tuck up under a flap. The flap seems sturdy right out of the package, but we will see over time how it holds up. I am a little concerned by other reviews that state the zippers have broken rather soon after purchase. However, I have been trying to find a "fool proof" lingerie bag for 20+ years, and no matter how much I've spent there seems to be either an eventual zipper failure or zipper snag. So, if these last a year I will consider them a bona fide success. 3. For the first wash, I put one hook-less sports bra in each bag. I used all 3 medium and all 3 large, plus I used 2 extra zipper pillow covers I already have been using. The medium mesh bags seemed about the right size. The large bags were very big for these garments, but I didn't want to double up and have there be tangling of straps within the bag (I also find the pillow covers excessively big, but only put one garment in each bag). I ran the wash with warm water on the "regular" cycle in my top-load machine. Upon completion of the cycle there was absolutely no twisting up of garments or of bags. Each item came out of the washer as a single item. Nothing was bound up around the agitator. None of the zippers had come out from under the flap or failed after the first wash and the integrity of the mesh bags seemed to be as good as before washing. 4. I always line dry my lingerie. However, the mesh bags and pillowcases I threw in the dryer on low heat. I left the large mesh bags unzipped and the medium I zipped, just to see how they would hold up. The medium bags stayed neatly tucked under the flaps, all the zippers worked fine after 30 minutes on low heat in the dryer. The integrity of the bags seemed fine, although the mesh did perhaps feel a little less stiff than before washing and drying. So, after one wash and dry cycle I am quite satisfied. It remains to be seen how well they hold up after multiple wash and dry cycles. Also, I have yet to wash any garments with hooks in the bags, so I haven't fully tested the strength of the mesh against snagging on hooks. However, I am pleased enough with their usefulness and performance in washing hook-less garments that I am going to purchase another set. As for the negative comments regarding failed zippers or other problems, I have not encountered these problems... yet. Maybe this company has a few consistency issues in their product quality, and I suppose there is always a few bad apples in every barrel. But as I have never, in 20 years, found anything that works better, and have wasted a lot of money on things that worked worse, I will give this product 5 stars initially. If they last at least 6 months, I will still feel they are worth at least 4 stars.

Keeps your socks safe!
The reason I purchased laundry bags was because we purchased a new home that came with a front loading washer/dryer. Socks and other small items would slide down the glass by the door of the washer and into the “grommet” where the door is and they wouldn’t wash correctly. It was especially a problem with my infant daughter’s socks and wash cloths! Now I just throw everything into these washing bags, and they work great! I put any other fragile items in a bag too-bras, aprons etc. the “big” laundry bags are super large, and the smaller ones are big too! You can definitely fit multiple small stuff in each. I recommend these bags to everyone who want to keep their stuff safe and accounted for!

Best I've found.
These are extremely well made bags. I've looked for a while for the fine mesh bags. My bra hooks always tangled in the larger holed/weave bags, even if I hooked them before washing. I also really like the sturdy plastic zippers. Nice touch! I use these to wash delicates, sox, and beaded blouses. Can't do laundry without them. A must have.

Soft, seems durable, and stays secure in the wash
Looks to be a good set of mesh laundry bags! So far I’ve used them in the laundry twice and they’ve held up pretty well. They are the soft type of mesh that feels slightly slippery to the touch, instead of some other ones that feel more like the rough netting that holds a sack of oranges. The zipper tucks into the end well so they don’t unzip in the wash. No rips or tears so far, feels like the material is durable that will last a good while. I will certainly update my review if I notice anything else.

Yes! Love these....
Long story short -- I had the world's worst washing machine, and so I replaced it with an old fashioned workhorse that cleans like there's no tomorrow, but unfortunately has been known to suck smaller items right on down the drain. I have a couple of lingerie bags, but I really needed MORE for my husband's socks (how many pairs of 1 sock does one man need) and other smaller items like my lingerie which aren't nearly as small as they used to be, but that's a sad story for another day. I haven't had these bags long enough to say how durable they are, but they have at least one design feature I love which is a small elastic loop for lack of a better word for you to tuck the zipper in nice and flat. This keeps the zipper from coming undone and dumping the contents or damaging other fragile items in the load. Love it. The zippers are plastic but not flimsy, look to be sturdy enough and, again, tucked in as they are when zipper tucked away, should last. I'll be back to report if they don't, but these bags look like they'll be around a nice long time. Thank you!

No lost socks here!
Used all the sizes in one wash and they held up great. I was worried since I saw some of the reviews on the laundry bags but these are fantastic. I love training my daughter to put her socks in one bag so that when I wash them I know I have both socks and the washing machine hasn't eaten one....lol

Impressed with product upon arrival, not used yet.
Right out of the package, best laundry bags I've seen at a reasonable price. Zipper looks sturdy with a generous sized pull. Elastic is large enough to secure entire zipper pull. Interior seams are encased in mesh, not just serge stitched. Sean encasing goes beyond corners of the bag, which should provide extra strength. The mesh is very, very similar to that of bags I have branded Woolite and Real Simple. Photos included to show my review points. Taken under flourescent lights with no flash. Will try to update review after several uses.

Laundry Bags are Top Notch!
I purposely waited a while to do this review. I wanted to use the bags several times so I had a good idea of how good/bad they really are. I love them! I use the smaller ones for my bras/lingerie and they work beautifully. Very fine mesh, so hooks, etc. don't snag on anything. Zippers are strong heavy duty plastic, and are working quite well. I would highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed.

I love these! Something so small makes such a big difference.
I love these! Something so small makes such a big difference. I purchased this set for travel and to use with my everyday laundry. Travel- I store my clean undergarments in one and the worn undergarments in the other. Perfect for keeping my clothes separated and for unpacking when I get home. Helps me put away the clothes I didn’t wear without mixing them up. Laundry- You could never guess how big of a difference these make. I have a lot of clothes and sometimes just want to wash the basics like undergarments and tank tops to prepare for the work week. Instead of throwing my clothes straight into the laundry hampers, I put undergarments in these bags after they are worn. I keep the bags in my hamper separated by color. All I do is grab the color(s) I want to wash for the week and I’m done! No sifting through laundry and being forced to wash full loads.

Good product!
My daughters wear the no show footie type thin socks and every laundry day I would have to separate them from the washer because I do not put them in the dryer. It was a real pain. Now I have them place them in their mesh bags and they go right into the washer, no more having to separate them. I also use these for delicate items such as dance tights, bras, etc. A nice thing about these bags is that you get different sizes and after you zipper them closed, you place the zipper pull under the elastic. I would not hesitate to buy the again.
