Fixed My Amazon Fire Stick Issue

I bought this cable after researching the reasons why my Amazon Fire Stick kept dropping its network connection at least every other day. I really didn't think this was the answer, but since I hooked this cable up, my Fire Stick has not dropped the connection at all (knock on wood). This was a great and inexpensive solution!

Fixed firestick interference with cable tv

Purchased this extension because I was having interference when using my firestick. This has solved the problem.

Works as it should. Great for extending Fire TV Stick.

Works as it should. No problems with video or audio. I use this cable with the Amazon Fire TV Stick to bring it out from behind the TV for better WIFI signal. Fire TV Stick shows full bars on the signal and works much better now.

Worked for what i needed

I am using a firestick that was on a 3 inch HDMI cable that would hang down from the side and behind my 55" tv. I have outstanding IP streaming service but I would keep getting buffering. Even with the router moved to the kitchen 30 feet directly in front of the tv it kept buffering. So I ordered this cable to elevate the firestick to about 5 feet from the ground and roughly 3 feet above the tv in an open area in my entertainment center. Lo and behold no more buffering... I was actually shocked and amazed that this cheap cable eliminated my buffering issue all together. I have no way to run a hard wire so it was either this or a wifi extender. Good thing i went this route... Now i can watch 3500 streaming channels at less than 10 bucks a month without any buffering and still get high quality HD broadcast. CUT THAT CORD!!!

Works fine

I used this for my Firestick to keep it from being smashed behind the console. It seemed to be overheating and locking up. I used this to move it out where it can get some air. Works fine. No issues.

Works with fire stick

Worked great to move my fire stick away from the back of my tv so it didn't interfere with my over-the-air reception.

Works good with Oculus Rift

I purchased this product (3ft) to use to connect my Oculus Rift VR headset to my PC. The HDMI port is on my video card and I wanted to be able to connect/disconnect the device from the front of the computer. Cable works perfectly and performance is identical to plugging the headset straight into the HDMI port. Product was exactly as pictured and performs well.

Works Beautifully with the Amazon Fire Stick!

Works perfectly with the Amazon Fire Stick! I wasn't thinking when we had our TV wall mounted. Due to the location of our HDMI port, the Fire Stick wouldn't fit behind the TV. This worked perfectly and a fraction of the price in local stores. I have uploaded a few pictures for you, but the item is exactly as described. If you are looking for a little more length from your HDMI port, this is the perfect solution!

Works as expected

I bought the AmazonBasics High-Speed male-to-female extension cable (3ft.) so I could use with the FireTV stick as the ones that came with it was not long enough to where I wanted to position it. So far, this cable is working as expected. There is not much to say of an HDMI cable unless you really do some deep testing with some software application but no need to do all that as long as my visual inspection shows me that it is working accordingly. All I can say is if you need a male-to-female HDMI cable, this will do the work. So far I have watched 4K programming on my 4K TV and I have not seen any latency. Therefore, I am pretty satisfied and hence the 5-star review. If anything changes for any reason (length of time that device lasted, quality degradation, etc.), I will update my review with any relevant information.

Buy this if you need 4K at 60fps

Problem solved. I have another Amazon basics cable running through my wall to a mounted TV. I bought a new TV stand and needed to extend the cable to reach my AV receiver. I went through 2x other extension cords and 2x couplers that all claimed to be 4k ready, but it turned out they could only pass through a signal at 4K if at 30fps or less. That's fine for a lot of streaming devices that output 4k at only 30fps but if you have a home theater PC or want to be future ready, it won't cut it. This cable was the only one that I found capable of extending a full 4k60fps signal without artifacts. Bravo Amazon. Great product.
