I bought this as a replacement to one of the pencil docks I purchased. That dock had a similar cable screwed into the base to charge my Apple Pencil. The difference is that the one that came with the dock was a piece of garbage and stopped charging after a few uses. Rather than buy a new dock with an inferior connector, I purchased this replacement cable and swapped it out. I am very happy with my choice as this cable looks and feels much better. It works perfect!

This is a necessity if you have the Apple Pen as the battery does not hold up long and your like me, you may have lost the tiny adapter that came with the pen. If you are on the go, I have noticed that my iPad will charge my pen when inserted for 5 to 10 minutes. So if you are on the go, you have that option.

Me encantó

For first generation iPencil users, this cable allows you to charge your pencil while keeping your little (Male to Female) lightning adapter from being lost. Leave it plugged in at home and you can always charge. It works well.

Every Apple Pencel owner should have this cable. I hated having the pencil sticking out the side of my iPad Pro. Perfect solution for a poor design element by Apple (and I never thought I would say that about an apple product). The worst design element of the pencil is the removable cap...I quickly purchased a cap holder that attaches to the pencil and found a pencil holder strap for my iPad Pro all on Amazon.

I wanted to be able to charge my Apple Pencil that I use with my iPad Pro along with my phone charger. The charger that Apple gives you when you purchase it is such a small little piece and it is easy to lose . The cord is long enough to plug it into the wall and leave it charging on my nightstand . It charges the pen well without any problems .

I wanted a way to charge my apple pencil short of plugging it into my mac or ipad. This cable allows me to plug my pencil in and let it charge without having to worry about knocking it out of the port and, possible breaking something, should I move my mac/ipad. I just wish there was a way of knowing when the charge was complete, but for now I'm happy with this cable.

I ordered this because I was having to remove my iPad case every time I needed to charge my Apple Pencil. I was worried about the wear & tear on the buttons on the side of it sort all that on & off. This is awesome. Plugged it into one of my iPhone wall plugs & it’s awesome. Having the pencil sticking out of the iPad while it charged made me Nervoud because I have a rowdy toddler. Didn’t want it snapped. I’m excited about this purchase

I actually bought this when I was planning on buying the newest Ipad and Pencil without realizing that the 2nd gen apple pencil does not charge like this anymore. Luckily my sister has the 1st gen apple pencil and I gave it to her because making a tiny charging sliver at the end of a long stick is probably the dumbest thing apple has done since taking away the audio jack. It takes away the fear of accidentally tapping your Ipad and breaking that tiny piece off.

I had just gotten my IPAD and Apple Pencil and didn't like how I had to charge the pencil. I had to use the charger that came with my Ipad (my only apple charger). This didn't work if I had to charge the IPad too! I'm an android user so I only had the 1 apple charger. I came across this doing a serach on amazon and said perfect. It charged my Pencil up and I was able to charge my IPad too! I would definitley recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to use the tiny adapter that came with the Pencil.
