a wonderful product at a great price

I smoked for 15 years and have quit 5 or 6 times now. I've read several books about quitting including the infamous "quit smoking the easy way" (which I did not like). I've looked into all the many many suggestions and even tried patches and Zyban etc etc. I don't normally write reviews but this is a GREAT product and after googling it and discovering magazines like Time just blowing it off I decided to write this. I just got this product 4 days ago. I have currently been smoke free for 2 months...however many (mosr) of my friends and family members smoke and it's hard to be around them. I have smoked several random cigarettes because of this (and have been lucky enough to not read opt the habit). This, in combination with the fact that sometimes I am just anxious and want to smoke was the reason I purchased these. Nicotine alters the chemical makeup of your mind in a way you don't realize until you quit and the chemicals in regular cigs destroy your health. I want nothing to do with that. HOWEVER I LIKE the act of smoking as I am an anxious person sometimes and it calms me. This product helps both my anxiety and my urge to smoke. It also keeps me from going back to smoking. You get the same smoking sensation as with a cigarette but it doesn't smell bad, increase your heart rate or make you want another 15 minutes later. And though I'm using it as a nonsmoker I would've LOVED to have had it when I initially quit. The articles (and books) published claim smokers smoke for the nicotine and without it they wouldn't want to smoke but if you ask me that is so far from the truth and I genuinely think it's great that there is a product that allows you to smoke without poisoning yourself. Yeah, carbon monoxide is still not great and yes using these prolongs the oral fixation but if the amount of nicotine in ONE cig was injected into your blood stream directly you would DIE so these are definitely WAYYYYY better. It's just green tea. I drink that compulsively anyway. I don't know why the media is putting this product down but if you're thinking of trying it, I highly suggest you do. It genuinely makes being and staying (that's always the hard part) nicotine free easier.

Used to help quit smoking

I am giving these 5 stars only because they played a big role in helping me to quit smoking. Yes, they taste bad. Yes, I have had embers come off and land on my hand resulting in small annoying burns. I've also had embers drop off onto my shirt or pants - equally as annoying. The good news - they work great as a distraction when you get the overwhelming urge to have a cig. They help you ride out the wave. In the past I've tried electronic cigs when I've quit smoking - I became addicted to those. These are annoying/inconvenient enough that I'm unlikely to become addicted to them. I keep a pack in my car in case I get the urge to pick up a pack of cigs. I also use them in the morning when I'm having coffee. They have really helped me out.

I gave these 5 stars because they are the best I've tried so far. I tried around 5 brands and couldn't tolerate the taste of any of the others. They don't have the herbal flavor which is good for me. They don't have much of a taste at all They do leave a slightly bitter after taste which isn't that bad. They are harsh for me, but I smoked the lightest cigarettes. I use a filter with them. I just wish they had a brand that's a little milder. I am nicotine free now thanks to these. No nicotine for 3 weeks and have no craving for nicotine. I will give myself a little time to wean off of these now and can always use them to occasionally smoke if I choose to.

Great with tobacco cessation

I love these! I found the taste to be fine. I’m using them to quit smoking tobacco cigarettes. I know these have tar in them, but don’t know how much. If you’re worried about that, you can buy Tar Trap tips (see picture) to filter out the tar. With the tip, it makes the Billy no tar and no nicotine. Hope this helps. Will definitely be buying these again to continue my effort to be nicotine free. I also found if you pack them they burn longer and aren’t as loose.

Amazing better than exspected

These where exsactly what I was looking for low Oder and low taste but still has the smoke the smoke doesn't hit as thick as a cigarette does and doesn't taste like one so if you where looking for a nicotine free tobacco tasting product this isn't for you I smoked 3 back to back as soon as I got them no nausea or anything abnormal my body feels like it just took a single hit after 3 back to back very light which is what I was looking for and plus it's 80 cigarettes for the price that a 20 pack of tobacco ones will cost you I liked the taste or more lack there of it didn't taste like much at all besides burning cigarette paper or rolling paper I don't know what's happening with people not liking the odor or taste I enjoy both but I don't enjoy the traditional tobacco taste or smell so that's not what I was looking for if you're just looking for something to smoke to slow your breathing down and to calm you down with low flavor and low scent this is for you the only problem I have is the burn of the paper is way faster than the herbs so I often have a hard ember that's longer than your average cigarettes which isn't much of a problem and a tip also is roast it like a cigar don't inhale while lighting it the very first hit after it's lit is very harsh and unpleasant but burning it out side of my mouth is no problem so no issues with me also the person I live with has no complaints about the smell and I just cracked a window and turned a fan on when I smoked them and haven't gotten a complaint a lingering smell or any smell attached to my clothes hair furniture etc.

Other bad reviews?

I received my packs of cigarettes, and honestly I didn't have full faith in them living up to their claims. A lot of bad reviews said the taste was awful. But now, those articles I read about all the fake reviews and padding on Amazon? I believe it because those reviews that claim these cigarettes taste fowl, awful and terrible? They are fake. I tried the Nirdosh East Indian cigarettes made from all those herbs amid claims that they are actually good for you? Wrooooong. If you have any allergies such as hay fever or just suffer from sniffles and runny nose when you get around pollen or outdoor plants, you will regret them. But with these Green Tea cigarettes? They have a smooth taste, not like cigarettes, and not harsh at all, and easy to adapt to once you smoke them for awhile. No where like the awful burnt taste and flavor of cocoa cigarettes or other bean or herb type smokes. These are smooth and refreshing to a point that you really don't miss regular cigarettes once the nicotine urge is gone. If you are looking to quit cigarettes, you might get such nicotine gum or patches or go one a script for Chantix which works well to reduce urges and withdrawal symptoms. Once you smoke them for a bit, you won't miss cigarettes at all. What most people who fail to quit suffer from is the fact they have not reduced their lungs to suffocating mornings and strangled fits yet, embracing a fear that drives htem to quit. DOn't wait that long folks, try these tea smokes and see if they are worth it.

Perfect For Social Smokers

This is the perfect product for me. I usually smoke when I'm out with friends or drinking. Just something fun to do (I usually smoke cigars). These I feel are better for me.. with the exception of the tar. I love these. The taste takes a bit to get used to, but I found it nice after a few puffs. I would buy again. Happy smoking!

Amazing

Amazing, absolutely love them. Taste just like regular cigarettes, without most of the harmful affects. I don’t smoke tobacco very often because of these, but I enjoy the sensations and taste of smoking so these are a great alternative. Burn just like normal and taste and smell similar to tobacco, unlike other reviews have stated. Will definitely be reordering again in the future.

Great buy

Awesome. For people who previously enjoyed smoking non-menthol cigarettes these are great. About the same as a Marlboro red. Quality is really nice too, they are pretty professionally put together. Definitely a returning customer.

The Best

I smoked for several years, these are the best out there!! I used to smoke Honeyrose but these are cheaper, much cheaper and better. These are great for getting off tobacco, please try them!!
