I like these so much more than the old plastic letters. But they might not be as durable as the old plastic ones. I can see younger kids possibly chewing on them and the foam would be ruined. The entire back of the letter is a magnet which is a plus. Both my 5 and 8 year old are loving them so far! The only thing I might suggest is to add a few more of the common letters. 'A, E, I, O, U'... Letters like those. Just so the kids can spell out a few different things at one time. I love that there are numbers as well. These are very lightweight. They are almost like the letters you would use in the bathtub. All in all I would recommend these for sure ๐Ÿ˜Š

I bought these for my toddler who is just learning the alphabet. They are lightweight foam. Yes, they have a strong smell when you first take them out of the package, but it doesn't last long! It's pretty much gone by the next day. And I think that's pretty normal for anything foam right out of the package. Cute, bright colors. I'm happy with the purchase!

This number and letter set is great. It has two sets of common letters and one set of capital letters which allows for spelling where there are repeat letters. The magnetic board isnt very big but is perfect for young learning and is compact for easy travelling.

My 4 yr old really likes these letters. He is making his rendition of chicka chicka boom boom on the fridge right now. These letters are foam and a bit flimsy if you try to bend them. I wouldn't recommend these for youngsters that like to chew or put things in their mouth. They hold up nicely on our fridge. I even tested them by shutting the door and they didnt fall off. I took a picture to show the difference between the plastic and foam letters. Obv. The Plastic letters are sturdier but overall nice packaging and the quality is nice imo.

Loved these letters, they are sturdy and have very strong magnets attached. They had a strong chemical smell right out of the box but it disappeared after a day or so. We love them. It is helping my 5 yr old learn more about the alphabet. Good product.

Excellent price, quality, and value. They are foam with magnets on the bottom so they are not like the hard plastic โ€œclassicโ€ ones you use to have but are lightweight, easy for the little one to use, and seem to be well made. The price was a third what we found in a local store for just letters, this set also has numbers and even basic math symbols. Great buy very happy.

these are great to leave messages on your fridge - also my grandson and nieces and nephews love to play with them on the fridge.

I was looking for letters to work with my preschool granddaughter. These were exactly what I wanted. The magnetic board works great, but she also likes to use the front of our refrigerator. This included both lower case, upper case, and numbers. They are durable enough to last a long time. I am very happy with this purchase.

These alphabet magnets are great. They are made of foam and have cute little designs. The little board that comes with it is great, we use it at the table while our little one is eating and spell out the words of the food and such.

I have a toddler who loves to mess with "my" magnets, so I wanted to get some that could be "his" magnets. I wish more R's came in the set so we could spell his whole name, but I guess that's my fault since I did name him. They're not hard magnets - foam with a magnetic backing. Strong enough to stay where they're placed & don't slide down. He has yet to try to eat them so no feedback on the taste or structural integrity as it relates to teeth.
