I saw several questions regarding if this would work with a 4-pole 3.5mm connector and the answer was no. I found out that the answer really is yes, it will work just fine, so long as you don't need to have your mic connected or are using some sort of balanced setup. I have had others that don't have the connector pins in the correct place and you only get mono audio out of them as one channel is actually positioned for the mic. Not this one, it just works as I would expect it to. The build quality seems good. It's nothing fancy, but it is solid and the knurled end is easy to grip for plugging and unplugging of the adapter. It seats firmly in my amp (1/4") and the 3.5mm end firmly accepts the headphone plug. The audio quality is good. There are no pops or cracks when the connector spins around, gets yanked on, etc. The connections are positive and snug, so I would not expect any issues with audio transmission, and there aren't any. I have not used this product for too long, so I can not attest to the resiliency of how these will wear. As far as I can tell, they seem every bit as good as ones I have been using for the past 20-30 years, but somehow manage to not have with me when I need them. These are cheap enough, I just bought several and I will leave them around, so that they are on hand when needed (home, work, backpack, etc.).

I've tried many 3.5mm to 1/4-inch adapters for my Yamaha keyboard and finally found one that seems well-built. The connections on both ends feel super secure and the channels don't cut out, both of which were problems on previous adapters I've used. Plus you get 2 adapters just in case, so the price is good as well. I'll have to wait and see about long-term durability, but for now this is seems like a superb choice.

Perfect for Yamaha digital piano. Connection is perfect and seem good quality.

I paid this much for a sub par product at the local electronics store. These are a good deal, well made, the gold coating is even and seems to wear well (I unplug and rack my headphones after every use so the adapter gets used a lot). Nice tight fit both on the inside 3/8 female and the exterior 1/4 plug, not too tight but no slop or wiggle. The knurled grip is just the right size to assist in making the connection but not so big it gets in the way. Using AKG 271 headphones I can tell the difference in sound quality between these adapters and the bargain basement ones I had before, a good solid connection makes a difference. Overall I am very pleased.

Glad two came in the package. One works, the other one drops the right channel. Update: Ugreen contacted me about my two star rating and resolved the issue to my satisfaction, thus the update to five stars. Good business practice!

Works exactly as expected. Now I don't have to hear my kids learning to play the (digital) piano! Although the picture shows two adapters, the description wasn't clear how many come in the package. I received two.

The packaging made a very good impression on me. They were both in separate bags and the bags were not at all flimsy. So far I've had no problems with the adapters, but I wouldn't say that I've thoroughly tested them either. Will see how they hold up to the test of time. Update (5/17/2017): These adapters are still not causing any problems...I like them very well.

Arrived on time and worked perfectly right out of the package. I bought this to go into my Behringer Microamp Ha400 Ultra-Compact 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier so my little nephew can watch and listen to my gameplay with me as I record and live stream my gameplay while he stays with us this summer. The sound is great with a rich quality. These have a decent weight to them that testifies to their build quality. Would I recommend this product? Yes, I do.

I would think that by the early 21st century most manufacturers would have figured out how to make a simple item like this 1/8' to 1/4" adapter, that works. This is my third one I've tried; and out the three this the first one that simply does what it supposed to do. My headphone's 1/8" plug fits without wiggle; I don't have to push in my headphone jack just right to have both channel on, and I don't have to move around very gingerly to avoid cracking. The fact that I'm writing a glowing review of a simple item that just works, shows how bad the quality of common household items got in the last 15-20 years, and that is really depressing.

Product came in a nice bag for shipping. It works as expected. No complaints about the build. Some I have gotten from other countries start to fail after a little use but I remove them from my mixer a lot adding to wear on them and they show no signs of failing. Great product for the price.
