Hands down the best iPhone wide angle lens on the market. Incredible bang for the buck! No distortion that I can find (in proper lighting) like many of the other lenses I've tried, just crystal clear pics. Indoors, the iPhone camera struggles in low light, so the lens won't help that. But, outside or properly lit indoors this lens really shines! It's not a small lens, in fact it's only slightly smaller than some full frame DSLR lenses. One piece of advice, you'll need to remove your phone case to really get the most out of the lens. Also, the macro is amazing but I never really use it, just not my thing. The only thing I'd change about is it would be nice if it came with a hood, but any lens needs one, so not a big deal. Should have bought this years ago!

I own a few different smartphone lenses, including Moment lenses. As for this Aukey PL-WD07 Ora, no lenses amongst this price range can compare to the lens quality and it's fine aluminum body. Works pretty well with my Galaxy Note 9. Most of the shots were taken with the Aukey macro lens, where the sky line/building shots were done using the Aukey wide angle lens. The (sky line/building) photo with the closer shot was done using the Aukey wide angle lens and the smartphone built-in 2x zoom, it looks incredibly awesome too.

Wow! I am impressed with this lens! It works really great for landscape photos with very little to no distortion on the sides. I tried the photojojo wide angle lens for comparison (see pictures) and that one leaves a black halo effect around the edges of the photo. No matter how carefully I placed that little photojojo lens onto the magnetic ring on my phone, I could not get rid of that halo. I am sold on the Aukey - it is easy, and produced some great landscape pics. Picture quality is impressive considering the low cost. I had no problem with the clip-on - it felt pretty secure on my phone. I included pics of the normal iphone lens, the photojojo lens (black edges), and this Aukey lens for comparison. I am most impressed with the Aukey photo.

Just got this delivered today. I have an iPhone 7 plus in the Apple leather case. I don't care what you've read here, it definitely fits perfectly even with a thin case. Covering the entire dual camera on the back is irrelevant and unnecessary. You are only wanting to cover and center the side with the wide lens. If you pay attention to a review, make sure the person knows what they are talking about regarding lenses/photography/videography. I have a nikon dslr with 5 lenses. I shoot my own real estate photography on a nice, expensive wide lens. So I'm familiar with the common wide angle problems even on those lenses. I also used to shoot video on a hacked GH1 many years ago....meaning i somewhat know my way around this lens stuff. There are already excellent test pics here from other reviewers that show this lens's potential...When used correctly. If you get any black spots in the corners on even the widest stock camera setting, you don't have it placed perfectly. Keep trying. I went out and took some test shots looking for a big loss in sharpness and major barrel distortion. Like almost any wide lens, there will always be SOME distortion on the sides. But for the price of this lens, it's extremely minimal. This is the definition of bang for your buck. I'm extremely satisfied. I see very, very minimal loss of sharpness (make sure your camera lens is free from smudges too). Distortion is also minimal on the sides. It's about the same as my 400 plus dollar Sigma wide lens for my Nikon. There are two other reasons why this lens is perfect for me. I will shoot mostly video with it, therefore you aren't using the widest angles where the distortion actually is. The other thing is the thread size on the front for adapters is 52mm. I've seen some people say 58mm. Maybe there are two versions, but i got 52mm.... Which is what i wanted. I had a 52mm ND filter and now i don't have to buy a step down ring. I could not be happier. For those looking at the $30 aukey lens to compare, this is a slightly wider angle at 140 vs 120. That's important if you are using this for video since you won't get the entire angle. You want the 140. The other lens has a slight bit more magnification for the macro lens... But I won't use that. If macro is most important, the other may be a better fit. Before this purchase, i was debating spending more for the Moment wide lens v2 or the Sandmarc. For my usage and considering the positive reviews, I couldn't see paying almost a hundred bucks more for those lenses and also having to buy the cases for the Moment to fit. This will tide me over until they release their anamorphic lens in October. Let me know if you have any questions. Hope this helps some of you on the fence!

Does not fit well on Samsung Galaxy S7. However after discovering this and sending pics of the fit issues, Aukey was on the ball and resolved the problem. I own several other Aukey products and love them, I'm glad to see their customer service was on the stick here.

Got this for a trip out to the Southwest, I'm from Maryland. I had low expectations because of the cost and way it clips on but I found that it works great on my Samsung Galaxy S5 in combo with short panoramic pictures. At first I took a bunch with and without the lens so I could review it on my computer before posting them online to see which really looks better but now I don't even bother taking pictures without the lens for landscapes. I have to be careful not to block the corners and not every picture comes out perfect so I take a lot and pick out good ones later but for a guy that isn't a professional photographer and doesn't want a big camera, it is perfect since I can just throw the lens in my backpack and go. I added some of my pics, I didn't edit or use any filters.

This is a larger size clip-on macro and wide angle lens. Make sure to look at pics so that you know this is a fairly large lens. I intend to use the wide angle lens primarily to capture interior spaces that are somewhat small, which this lens helps with. I didn't get one that had larger than a 140 degree perspective since I was worried about picture distortion. This one does not distort the image. People who complain about the lens showing in their pics are not centering it on the phone camera lens properly. You don't even need to be that precise about it, so I'm not sure why there is difficulty; there is a pretty large window of error. I think the quality is excellent for a $25 lens for your phone camera. It's as expected and allows for a wider range of use. This will not turn your camera phone into a professional-level camera, so don't expect that going into this. It includes a lens cover which is a nice touch.

Very nice but its big lol!

Worked as described. I immediately took some photos of a wall of folding doors, both with and without the wide-angle lens. The photo with lens included several more doors. There was some distortion at both ends of the lens photo, but I expected some distortion due to a wide perspective. It fit my (Verizon) Motorola Mini Droid phone comfortably, with space to spare. It takes an extra minute to align the wide-angle lens squarely over the camera lens, but that is a small price to pay for the extra coverage in photo space. Especially when taking large groups of people who may not be cooperative by squeezing in closer to a narrower photo area. A very worthwhile addition to my cell camera. Not a replacement for your DSLR, but it makes a cell phone more like a "real" camera. Recommended.

I forgot this particular lens in a locker at Universal in Orlando on one of my trips, but not before I got a few really good shots... regardless, it ruined my day. I had tons of trouble finding a lens to fit my iPhone 7 Plus without distorting the photograph or blurring the picture, but this one was perfect. I ordered Ubittek iPhone Camera, 0.5x 140° Wide Angle afterwards just to see if it was moderately better but the Aukey lens easily blew it out of the water so I reordered this one. I've attached some photos with the lens attachment for you to see!
