Don't risk someone being stuck with your used needle/sharps.
Just the perfect size. It fits on my window sill, in the kitchen where i check my blood and inject medication. I am trying to be a good citizen and dispose of my sharps in a responsible way and this sharps container is the ticket. Affordable, locks when done to dispose of it at the hospital sharp drop off center. No one should have to risk being stuck by your used needle.

Perfect size for at home use!
All sharps containers are fundamentally the same: a red or orange box made of heavy plastic. Their main character difference is the size and how that size is shaped. As a diabetic who uses insulin pens to take up to seven shots per day, I have lived with various boxes of this sort for many years. What makes this one special? It is larger than the common home size (the little one-quart rectangle boxes), but it is designed in a way that sits easily on a shelf without taking up much more room. The lid includes an opening with a rotating lid which can be turned from a narrow sliver to a full half-moon opening to accept your needles, pen needs, or whatever other small biohazard waste you add. Could I buy a larger size? Sure, but anything bigger takes up the same space as a trash can, and who wants to live with a giant can of used needles in their kitchen, bathroom, or wherever you take your shots? Not me! I replaced the smaller ones every three or four weeks when I used them. This one took about four months to fill up.It fits on a cupboard shelf, behind my row of pillbottles and my needle supply. I can still easily reach the opening for disposal and it's out of the way, so I don't need to worry about my kids getting into it by mistake or on purpose. I keep the lid closed down to a slice just large enough to take a pen needle, so if I did take the box from the shelf and drop it, it wouldn't spill a hundred coverless needles on my kitchen floor. In short: It works, it fits, I'm happy, and I'm ordering again.

Convenient sharps container
Allows convenient disposal and security for sharps waste. Container closes completely yet easily opens for access, caution should be used to not inadvertently lock the top. Size and shape allow for convenient and secure placement. Repeat purchase, completely satisfied.

Good find
Did the job and is very big, so it holds a lot of needles. This will last a long time. I was purchasing small Sharps containers at drug stores and they were more expensive and smaller and I am glad I found this one.

Great home compact sized sharps disposal container
I bought this as my husband needed to go back to testing his blood with his diabetes and the lancets can't go in regular garbage. He is also now taking insulin injections and needed to also dispose of daily needles safely. This is perfect for a home as it holds quite and bit and not too large for a kitchen, etc. It's also compact enough for a kitchen counter

A good sharps container.
My wife and I use it at home to dispose of used injection pens. It works great - as advertised. I've ordered three so far.

Perfect container
Looks exactly as pictured. Serves its purpose of disposing my sharps and used diabetic supplies. Nice size and should last me a while. The top is a bit tough to slide open

Better than smaller model
had the smaller version of this product and while it worked and while it worked; I found this one to be easier to open and dispose of used strips, needles, and syringes -- have not used it for travel but would probably use the smaller version for travel

Effective, Durable, Solid Construction If you need this but, if you do...this one is reliable.
Great, well made product. However, this is not my order. I’ve been useing these sharps containers for many years. First as a RN; then for me, when I developed Insulin dependent Type ll Diabetes. I have NEVER experienced any malfunction or breakage with this product. The two stage container access opening always works perfectly so, there has never been an experience of contaminated waste or spillage. I.e. no accidental contact with drugs, needles or other substance you have placed inside the container. I have received no compensation of any kind for this review. I wrote this review because it’s always done what it created for. Definitely a 5🌟⭐️🌟⭐️💥.
