Wow!!

VERY impressed with the quality of this set. We are not a bunch of artists around here, so take this with a grain of salt. I was shooting for a mediocre set of paint brushes for my son. However, the case and brush are A LOT better quality than I was expecting. They appear to be rather high quality.

Solid set of brushes

I bought these brushes to take to a watercolor painting retreat. The brushes are sturdy, easy to clean and comfortable to use. They come in a variety of sizes in round, flat, filbert and fan brushes. They come with a handy carrying case. I can see that a person would want to own a separate set just to use for their acrylic painting. Hint, hint--I'd love a second set!

Great brush set

After 35 years of putting my artistic passions on the back burner, I've decided to let it flow. I was at the point I felt I needed a better quality brush than the basic craft set I had. I came upon this set and thought I'd give them a try. I do not consider myself a beginner necessarily, however I admit to being rusty. These brushes are lovely to use, I am using them for acrylic use but find I could just as happily use them with water colour as well. The case is great is and it can be used conveniently while you work. They are comfortable in my hand and taken care of properly they are very easy to clean. I am very pleased with their performance and give them a 5 star rating.

Friendly Brushes

The brushes loosen up quickly. The packaging is nice like really expensive sets, but I like the price in comparison. When I "practiced" doing the painting with them before even wetting the brush the first time, they felt like they were already broken in.

I think these brushes work great!! I typically work with acrylic & watercolor. I love the feel of the brushes. I have only used them with acrylic on wood, but I'll assume they'll do fine with watercolor as well. There is a great variety of brushes for different brush techniques which is nice. I was looking to see if I noticed the brushes shedding, as I had read in the 1-2 star reviews, but I have not encountered this at all. I am a very happy customer.

These brushes are great. My friend ordered herself a set as well after painting with them.

I love it.

I love it.. I bought this brush set after I had tried a few other brands and this brush set just works. My daughter and I just took on serious painting and we have been using these almost everyday for a month now. I have used them for acrylic/ oils and water color. The bristles are well formed and dont come out as in some of the other cheap versions. The handle is quality and does not feel cheap. Overall - I am very happy with the purchase.

Exceptional brushes at affordable prices.

As a professional artist I'm very particular about the brushes I use. I keep a ready supply of Mont Marte brushes in my studio. They are resilient and consistent in their application of paint. An artist should never have to fight with his brushes, and with Mont Marte the paint flows as easily as the ideas. Thank you for a fine product.

Great Gift

My mum and I picked these brushes out as part of a Christmas gift for my dad. He's used them twice in conjunction with the watercolor paints and paper, and says that they're some of the nicest brushes he's ever used.

Good quality at low price

Arrived in perfect condition. No stray bristles, none of them were bent (like other reviewers mentioned). They are a nice set of brushes. Each brush has a LOT of fibers. Thick and reasonably soft. I am pleasantly surprised with the good quality for the price. Update! I have been using these brushes for watercolor painting and I am very pleased with how well they work. They bristles are nice and soft and very well made. These are quality brushes.
